Royal Seoul matlagningskurs i en 100-årig Hanok

We took Chef Park's cooking class in a beautiful 100-year-old hanok and left with full stomachs and a genuinely great evening behind us. Chef Park is an excellent instructor — funny, knowledgeable, and great at explaining not just the how but the why behind each dish. We made five things: tangpyeongchae (mung bean jelly with pork and vegetables), haemul pajeon, galbi short ribs, fresh kimchi, and Korean potato salad. It's an ambitious menu for one class, but the pacing worked well and everything came out delicious. The setting alone is worth mentioning — eating the meal you just made in a century-old hanok is a nice touch that elevates it beyond a typical cooking class. He also pointed us toward a great fried chicken spot afterward, which turned out to some of the best fried chicken we have ever had! I would recommend this class to any one who is interested in food and cooking.

We had a wonderful experience! From the beautiful ambiance of the class to the delicious dishes we learned to prepare, everything was exceptional. Chef Park was warm, welcoming, and made the experience both fun and educational as she guided us through preparing Royal Seoul cuisine. We especially loved the cultural and historical stories shared throughout the class, which made it even more meaningful. Everything was easy, well organized, and absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Seoul!

Just completed a Korean cooking class here in Seoul. We found this tiny school - The Royal Seoul Cooking Class - @royalseoulcc - that’s just blocks away from where we are staying in the Insadong neighborhood. Our Chef, Park, guided us with several dishes that became our lunch. Park was super informative about history behind the dishes as well as the preparation techniques. All of this happens in a cute little house hidden away in backstreets of Insadong.

Park was a great teacher and offered a lot of history of the food. He had a lot of patience with our 12yr old with lots of compliments and encouragement. We would recommend him to all of our friends.

Hands down best meal in Seoul. This was such a fun experience and so tasty! Definitely recommend booking this tour if considering. We received history about the dishes and recipes/homework to make them at home and send pictures. Can't wait to try making these dishes at home.

It was a very fun and informative coking class. Park was super interesting to listen to. The dishes we prepared were absolutely delicious and surprisingly easy to make. The Hanok in which we cooked was an absolute stunner. Would recommend a 100%.
