Skyline Drive är en naturskön väg i Cañon City, Colorado. Den byggdes av fångar 1905.[1] Vägen börjar från U.S. Highway 50, med en gradvis lutning uppför sidan av en ås. När vägen toppar sig, slingrar den sig, klättrar och faller som en berg-och dalbana ända till slutet, där en naturskön utsikt har utsikt över både staden (öster) och motorvägen (väst). Den enkelriktade enkelriktade vägen reser sig cirka 800 fot över den omgivande terrängen. Det finns inga skyddsräcken trots kraftiga fall och körningen är cirka 3 mil lång.
Temple Canyon-vägen slingrar sig över Royal Gorge-antilinjen genom Ute-stammens gamla jaktmarker. Kanjonvägen passerar "Templet" men man måste veta var man ska leta. Fossil kan ses längs vägen med andra geologiska underverk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Jeep tour with Richard. He was so informative about everything from the topography to the history and all the nature on our tour. The views were amazing and going over the Road Gorge Bridge was great!
We had a wonderful Jeeping experience with our driver and guide, Steve Wilson. My husband and I were the only two on the tour and Steve was so knowledgeable of the area, full of tidbits of information and lots of stories, besides being just super friendly! We highly recommend Steve.
This was an awesome tour. Russ was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. The things we saw were phenomenal! It is great way to see Colorado at its natural best.

We had an awesome time out in the gorge and surrounding areas. Our guide, Coach, knew his stuff and kept us as entertained as the terrain we were driving through. We will be back for a full day tour on the next go around.
We had the pleasure of having Jeanine take us on the tour. Being from Colorado we were very much interested not only in the beautiful country and terrain but also in the history of the area. She was a wealth of knowledge in this regard. She could not only handle the terrain but also all my questions. Colorado Jeep Tours has permission to go to places and lookout points that you can't go to otherwise. I'd recommend this tour to anyone from Colorado or from out of town. It was every but as cool as the train ride if not more.
The tour was fantastic. Our guide DeDe was very knowledgeable and put an emphasis on safety while giving us the full jeep adventure. The tour was very scenic and the highlight included crossing the Royal Gorge Bridge by jeep, the rough climb to Sunset Point, and especially the travel on the Skyline Drive. Wow this trip was amazing. Thank you.

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like royalty this is the tour for you! Staff take care of your every need, and provide excellent information on a wide variety of topics. You’ll get wind in your hair, some rugged off-roading, magnificent views and the ability to pass through gates that are not available to the general public. Can’t wait to go back and try some of their other tours.
