This little operator has all the good stuff. Equipment and boats were in great condition, the river guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. We felt safe and well informed. We saw big horned sheep, all the important things were pointed out and explained, the views are so amazing! Don’t hesitate because it’s not a huge commercial company. We would book again. *tip advice* We expected to tip at about 10% but the going rate is closer to 20% or $20-25 a person* *family of 4 *first time on the river My only advice for the operator is take a photo of the boat/family before taking off and air drop it to them, otherwise they have zero photos unless they buy the action shots.
WONDERFUL business from booking to end. Our group had some minor difficulties getting paid n wiavered online (a bit confusing) but they remained steadfastly patient with us every step. Both BV and Royal Gorge river guides were amazing esp Brice at Royal Gorge. Thank you!
This was our first time white water rafting and we had an awesome experience! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide Ben aka Freck made the trip unforgettable and made a nervous mom aka me feel comfortable and confident 😊 Thank you for making our first river experience truly special!

Our family had an amazing time on our half-day Royal Gorge trip. The guides were knowledgeable, entertaining, and focused on our safety. Although our family had little experience with white-water rafting, our guide gave clear instructions, and we all felt very safe and had an awesome time. Highly recommend Performance Rafting.
Awesome experience ! Face your fears
Was a little nervous at first, but Chris R. did job guiding us and making it a fun experience!
We rafted with Performance a few years ago at Brown’s Canyon and had such an amazing time we did it again but this time the Royal Gorge. Just the BEST experience with the entire staff, especially our guides Jeremy and Ashley. The scenery was beautiful throughout the 9 miles and our guides were informative and great teachers. Performance is a smaller operation and we always had top notch personalized service from booking to execution the day of. Highly, highly recommend - 10 out of 10 easy.
Our tour guide Bundy can read a river better than most can read a book, very knowledgeable and a cool dude! We’ll be back next year forsure!!
Excellent guides! Brice was awesome and made us all feel comfortable and we all had fun- he even stopped for all of us to take a swim!
