Utforska Riisitunturi nationalpark på vintern, känd för sina snötäckta träd och vidöppna landskap som skapar en av Lapplands mest ikoniska naturscener. Arctic GM drivs av The Original Aurora Hunters® och är ett familjeägt företag med rötter i Lappland som går tillbaka till 1600-talet. Företaget kombinerar lokal kunskap med fokus på smågruppsupplevelser och guidad vandring. Efter upphämtningen kommer du att resa till nationalparken, som ligger bort från livliga turistområden. Upplevelsen inkluderar en guidad vandring genom skogsstigar och natursköna utsiktsplatser, med tid att njuta av omgivningarna, fotografera och lära sig om den lokala naturen och vintermiljön. Tempot är måttligt, vilket gör den lämplig för de flesta fitnessnivåer. Under dagen stannar du till för att njuta av en traditionell lappländsk grillfest i en naturlig miljö.

Börja din upplevelse med hämtning i Rovaniemi och transfer till Riisitunturi nationalpark, som ligger ca 2–2,5 timmar från staden. Vid ankomsten påbörjas en guidad vandring genom snötäckta skogsstigar. Rutten passerar genom områden som är kända för tungt snötyngda träd, ofta lokalt kallade ”tykky”, samt öppna utsiktsplatser med utsikt över det omgivande arktiska landskapet. Vandringen är i måttligt och stadigt tempo, med regelbundna stopp för att njuta av landskapet, ta bilder och vila. Din Guide kommer att dela med sig av insikter om parken, vinterförhållanden och den lokala naturen under hela upplevelsen. Halvvägs genom utflykten stannar du vid en anvisad eldplats för att njuta av en traditionell lappländsk grillfest med varma drycker. Efter avslutad vandring återvänder ni till Rovaniemi. Total längd är ca 7–8 timmar.

I had an incredible experience with Arctic GM experiences OY on our trip to Riisitunturi National Park. After a fantastic Aurora hunt with this company, we saw a Facebook post about this national park and we just had to go. On Thursday 20th March, the lovely Issac took us. We were the only guests which was great for us. Issac was knowledgeable and so kind. I joked if we were stuck anywhere or attacked by a bear, Issac is the man you want to be with! He took photos and brought his own personal drone with him. Amazing piece of kit. I hope to receive the footage one day when he gets time. The photos were beautiful. We had such good fun with him foung snow angels. He looked after us at lunch time, cooked and fed us, he carried a choice of 3 different drinks! We were lucky to spot a wild reindeer on the way back too. Thank you Arctic GM and Issac for a memorable trip to a beautiful place.

We took the Arctic GM tour to Riistunturi National Park on March 17th - we can’t recommend this tour, or this company, enough. Our guide, Robin, picked us up at our accommodation on time, and was very attentive throughout the tour. The tour itself was magnificent - it was like nothing we had ever experienced - the snow on the trees was magical. The hike itself was not difficult, but the views were amazing. We had a nice barbecue lunch on the trail in a nice shelter, and then finished our hike with some delicious blueberry pie at the trailhead. We can’t recommend this tour enough!

Our guide Nicolas was amazing and went above and beyond for us to have an unforgettable experience, with care and dedication.
