Jag heter Ludovic, jag har bott i Rouen i 30 år och jag inbjuder dig att upptäcka Rouen och några av dess hemligheter. Jag älskar att träffa människor och välkomna varje gäst som om de vore en vän. Beskrivning av fasaden och dess historia
Klostret Saint-Ouen de Rouen är ett av de viktigaste monumenten i staden Rouen; dess klosterkyrka är ett perfekt exempel på gotisk arkitektur i Normandie. Klostret är föremål för en klassificering som historiska monument enligt listan från 1840
Aître Saint-Maclou är en före detta massgrav med anor från 1500-talet, belägen på 186, rue de Martainville i Rouen, Frankrike. Det är ett av de sällsynta exemplen på att ett ossuarium av denna typ finns kvar i Europa. Aître Saint-Maclou är föremål för en klassificering som historiska monument enligt listan från 1862
Gros-Horloge är ett av de emblematiska monumenten i staden Rouen. Konstruktionen, fäst vid en klockstapel, består av en renässansbåge som spänner över rue du Gros-Horloge med en astronomisk klocka från 1300-talet.
Det var på detta torg, mitt under hundraåriga kriget, som Jeanne d'Arc brändes levande den 30 maj 1431. Platsen, som Jeanne d'Arc såg den, såg inte ut som den är idag. Torget var mindre och dess utrymme upptogs av Saint-Sauveur-kyrkan, Saint-Michel-kyrkan och av en stor saluhall. Det var också den vanliga platsen för avrättningar. Ett stort kors har rests på platsen för pålen. Mitt på torget har resterna av den gamla Saint-Sauveur-kyrkan grävts fram. Det är i denna blygsamma församlingskyrka som Pierre Corneille döptes, hans födelseplats, rue de la Pie, som nu förvandlats till ett museum i närheten. Idag är det ett livligt torg, runt vilket det finns restauranger och barer

This tour was so fun and interesting! Easily one of the best tour guides I ever had. We did a day trip from Paris and it was worth the extra 1.5 hour train ride!

We had a wonderful small-group walking tour of Rouen with Ludovic. His English was excellent, and he was joyful, enthusiastic, and so knowledgeable throughout the tour. He made the history of Rouen come alive while keeping everything fun and engaging. Ludovic made sure we had plenty of time to take photos at all the important spots, and he even offered to take pictures of us along the way. He asked questions, kept the group involved, and made the experience feel personal and memorable. This is the first thing everyone should do when they arrive in Rouen. It’s the perfect introduction to the city, and Ludovic was an outstanding guide!
This was a terrific guided walk of historical Rouen. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging and had some great stories ( and quizzes) along the way. It was a very small group, which gave opportunity for asking questions. Most enjoyable!
More than two hours of informative, varied walks punctuated by small anachronistic moments, revealing the city in unique and original aspects. Ludovic's personality and energy contribute greatly to this experience. We were a group of 6 young seniors, and the moment was unique. Kudos to Ludovic. We recommend the visit and the guide!
