Ron del Barrilito Mixology Skip-the-line Tour

This is the second rum distillery I’ve been to in PR and the best. We took the property tour and did the mixology class. The rum cocktails were absolutely outstanding. Afterwards, we went into the gift shop and saw the handmade seals going on the bottles and found gifts for the whole family. This was an amazing tour!

This was one of the best cocktail classes we have taken! Rio was our guide and mixologist. He provided a private tour of the factory and its history. He then provided great instruction on how to make each drink and then taught us how to personalize each drink to our own preference and liking. We made three drinks and also received a complimentary drink on arrival. Rio provided both humor and history for a great experience. Purchasing rum on site was an added bonus so pack accordingly! Would highly recommend.

We purposely picked this distillery tour as we had heard it was a smaller operator with a more personalized experience! True indeed. Small group tour and excellent mixology class. 1 complimentary drink before the tour and then 3 more during the mixology class (Old fashioned, Encantado and Pina colada.) Beautiful visitor center too!

We made old fashioned, Encanto, & piña colada. I don't even drink, but participated in the mixology class which was SO FUN and they even catered my drinks to make mocktails for myself. The piña colada was really really good. Then I was the driver for the ride home since with the mixology tour + the welcome cocktail you get 4 drinks. I learned a lot, it was beautiful, and our tour guide/mixology teacher was very funny and friendly (I can’t remember her name but it started with M). Definitely recommend!

Incredible property and fun excursion. Well organized. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very much worth the trip. The only mistake we made was not eating beforehand and having a lot of alcohol. Luckily they had fantastic dips and chips to purchase and eat after with our drinks. We enjoyed the patio area and grounds as much as the tour and class. My adult kids said this was the best part of our trip!

This was an awesome experience!! Pedro was very knowledgeable of the grounds, history, rum making process and had great vibes about himself. The tour and him teaching thw mixology class was tip tier!! You get a complimentary drink of your choice, and then they teach you how to make 3 additional drinks. So for $90 you get a tour, 4 drinks and a mixology certificate and a great time. Well worth it.

Mixology tour was a blast. Pina Colada was one of the best I’ve ever had. Got 4 drinks and had such fun! Definitely worth a visit.

This was super fun! We got a tour of the original estate, distillery and ended with a mixology class! Our tour guide was fantastic!

Valeria guided my girlfriend and I through a private tour of the Ron del Barrilito distillery, the old house from the family, and had such a great time doing the mixology class. We made an Old Fashioned, the Encanto, and the Piña Colada for our 3 cocktails in the mixology class. You will be getting 3 cocktails as well as the complimentary 4th cocktail if you arrive 30 minutes before your tour starts, so make sure that you pace yourself if you drove there. The entire property is gorgeous, and there is so much history there. I was incredibly impressed in the tour, and seeing all of the barrels of rum aging and going through the process was awesome. I have been on many whiskey & bourbon distillery tours, and this one was special. 10/10, Valeria made all the difference in making this tour a full experience.
