Utgrävningarna av Domus är nu en permanent utställning som berikar Roms historiska och konstnärliga arv tack vare upptäckterna som har gjort det möjligt för oss att rekonstruera en viktig del av topografin i den antika, medeltida och moderna staden. Den natursköna vägen genom resterna av patrisian Domus från den kejserliga tidsåldern, som en gång tillhörde kraftfulla familjer, är rik på mosaik, väggdekorationer, polykroma golv, beläggningsblock och andra rester. Utgrävningarna har förbättrats ytterligare med virtuella rekonstruktioner, grafik och videor. Du kommer att se väggar, rum, peristyles (verandor med pelare), kök, bad, möbler och dekorationer som alla återupplivas, eftersom ruinerna av denna stora Domus i antika Rom fullbordas och väcks till liv genom projektioner och ljuseffekter.

Super fun audio tour that is easy to follow. Very fat to see all the excavations under the glass plates.

It was difficult to find because of construction, but once found was a real disappointment. Technology was pretty dated and too many people were on tour so you couldn’t see a lot. Waste of time.
Strong feeling to be cheated when paying twice the price, with an uncorrect address. I will recommend to go directly to the official site. Viator should be more explicit about the fact that no added service is provided.
The guide never showed up. They gave 2 totally separate meeting places and the times were totally wrong. We ended up going on our own.
Our excursion was cancelled upon arrival because of a broken projector. That can happen but was a disappointment because no alternative was offered. A refund was promised but not given. The conditions to make a booking are very strict.
This is a small tour that gave me the best idea of what it was like to live in ancient Rome. Strongly recommend.
Far from the great classics, visit in small committee, a Domus: glass floor, allowing to discover the archaeological site underground: beautiful lighting, good comments. The duration also includes the history of the Trajan column. The children also enjoyed
<p>Very interesting tour. Amazing to see how they can recreate history with light. The tour was 1.5 hours and everything was explained in great detail. It is a lot of just standing so wear comfortable shoes.</p>
<p>An amazing tour of the hidden foundations and mosaics of two Roman houses. Very informative commentary which more than offset the slightly nervous experience of walking on see-through floors!</p>
