The food tour with Antonella was so wonderful for our family! It started with a brief visit to an extremely beautiful church with so much history, then headed to 5 stops with various Roman foods to try. Antonella’s English was perfect, and we loved the history and legends she told us about the various places. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience, calling ahead to places so the food was ready when we got to each stop, making sure all the places were open even though it was a holiday, stopping in the shade and to refill water bottles, and even running back to the last food stop when my daughter forgot her bag. I sincerely hope we can take another tour with her next time we are in Rome!
best food tour ever! i discovered this marvel... suplì.... now im addicted to it. seriously guys!
It was incredibly hot, but absolutely worth it. I loved walking through Trastevere and the Jewish Ghetto while getting to try so many different Roman foods along the way. The supplì and the gelato were definitely my favorites. And thankfully Rome has little fountains everywhere, so we could keep refilling our water bottles along the way. Such a fun way to experience the city.
I had Antonella as my tour guide. I made a mistake and went to the wrong meeting point and I took a taxi to meet them at the first food stop. She welcomed me and filled me in on anything I missed and then some. She had such a good energy about her and she was very knowledgeable about the food and the history. She was so sweet and kind and an absolute pleasure to talk to. I would give her a 15/10 stars if I could. I highly recommend this tour. The food was also just incredible. My favorite tour I have done in the last 3 days.
Very belatedly leaving a review for this tour which we did on our first evening in Rome. Alessandra was an incredible guide - so knowledgeable about Rome's gastronomy, culture and history. It was the perfect way to start our trip and we left with excellent recommendations that were so helpful for the rest of our stay. Thank you!
