I was stuffed! So much food! Our guide also had extensive knowledge of the Catholic Churches and architecture of the area, so it was extremely interesting besides the obvious food factor. It was a great experience.
Massimo was so amazing at pointing out both food and cultural points along the tour. His information about the food and why it is so important to Rome was incredible. The food was amazing and taking in the beautiful buildings and sights made everything more inspiring and beautiful. Such a wonderful way to spend the night!
This was the highlight of our entire trip to Italy. We not only learned about the culture through food, but Federica gave us tons of information about where to find authentic Roman cuisine. I fully intend to recommend this tour and especially this tour guide to others.

Our guide was extremely kind and knowledgeable. However, there was miscommunication about what the tour was. We signed up for a food tour and we had our first taste 75 minutes into the tour. We purposely scheduled this to be interactive for kids (and I shared our ages and intentions for the tour), and given that it was a private tour it seemed like it could be tailored to our family. He is a great guy, but it was not what we signed up for.

That said, we completely understand your frustration. When you book a food tour with young children and share that context in advance, you should arrive to an experience shaped around your family. Waiting 75 minutes for the first tasting is not the right start, and a private tour should absolutely allow room for that kind of personalisation. We will be speaking with the guide about how private tours can be better adapted when guests share their needs upfront. Your feedback is genuinely helpful in making that happen. Educational and delicious! Carlo took us around the neighborhood with special spots along the way. Aside from the eateries, he helped explain historical backgrounds of the local area and told us the significance of each specialty dish! Every tasting was much bigger than expected so come with an empty stomache! We are so much by the end we couldn’t even finish, but our guide was nice enough to help eat! Come hungry and leave happy!
