Shame on this tour company! They sold us tickets for a 1030 entrance time even though “apparently everyone knows” they hold daily masses between 1030 and noon at the pantheon so no tours are allowed!! They say they will honor tickets if you come back later, but we had other venues scheduled for later time during that day. Of our short time and one day only in Rome, we chose two venues and thanks to this company. They completely ruined one and will not refund our money! I’m sure this tour through other companies is amazing, but I will never book another tour through “Italy Roman tours“ again! Truly wishing I could give them a -10 rating as they don’t even deserve one star
Dear Guest, we’re truly sorry for your frustration, but your review misrepresents the situation. Pantheon closures for religious services—especially morning Mass—are managed directly by the Basilica and announced with little or no advance notice to all agencies, meaning no operator can guarantee that a scheduled time slot will remain open. When this happens, the Pantheon allows guests to enter at the next available time, and we communicated this to you immediately. The service you purchased was delivered in full, and the closure was not caused by us. We understand your disappointment, but attributing the Basilica’s last-minute operational decisions to our company is not accurate.
No Skip-the-Line (we asked lady at entrance and she said there isn’t such a thing there). Then when we got inside, the audio that was sent wouldn’t play, so we had to read the information. We could have just bought the $5 ticket when we got there. The line was long but went fast.
Getting a response regarding how each person in my family would get a link to the audio was a little sketchy. I ended up forwarding the email to my husband and daughter so they could listen as well. The narrator was very good and very understandable. I wish however there was less repetitive information in each section and more new content. It almost seemed as it was done to fill time.
