Our food and wine tasting experience at Agippa Ancient Roman Baths was unforgettable. Benedetta S was a fabulous host — incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and truly a breath of fresh air. Her passion for Italian culture shone through every moment.The food was incredible. Each dish came with fascinating insights into the ingredients, their origins, and the traditions behind them, which made the tasting feel both immersive and authentic. The wine pairings were perfect, enhancing every flavour and completing the experience with elegance.A wonderful blend of history, culture, and exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended.

Our experience with Lilly was absolutely amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. The food was phenomenal; it was perfectly portioned, and the sommelier’s pairings were perfect with the dishes. We had the best time and would absolutely recommend!

This candlelit wine and food tasting in Agrippa’s ancient ruins was the perfect ending to our long weekend in Rome. Dining in the old Roman baths created such a unique atmosphere—the perfect blend of romance, culture, and history. Every course was thoughtfully paired and absolutely delicious. We started with a wonderful charcuterie and cheese selection alongside a crisp Prosecco that set the tone for the evening. Next came a flavorful cacio e pepe paired with a light white wine that complemented the dish beautifully. Our third course was a delicious saltimbocca served with a red wine that elevated every bite. We finished with a double feature of tiramisu and a salted caramel tart paired with a dessert wine that was the perfect sweet ending. Every food item had a wine pairing that truly made our taste buds sing. You could tell a lot of thought went into creating an experience where the flavors worked together seamlessly. Our guide, Eleonora, was fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable and spoke five languages, which really shined when another couple in attendance spoke only Spanish. Her ability to connect with everyone and effortlessly move between languages made the experience feel welcoming and inclusive. We often choose private tours, but decided to join the group experience this time, and we’re so glad we did. It was wonderful meeting people from around the world, and Eleonora did an amazing job bringing together different backgrounds into one unified and memorable evening.
