Rockland's Bird Sanctuary är en upplevelse en gång i livet. Se fåglarna (cirka 15 olika arter) flyga runt ivrigt och väntar på att du ska räcka ut ett finger för att de ska sitta och mata dem med nektar från en flaska eller en fink som sitter uppe och äter glatt från din handflata. se många fågelarter som Jamaican Oriole, Doctor Bird (National Bird of Jamaica), White Winged Dove, Finches, Red Crowned Woodpecker och mycket mer. Observera att fåglar inte är i bur, de är vilda fåglar som bara kommer till helgedomen under dagen för att mata. Efter 1 timme med fåglarna tar fågelskötaren dig på en kort promenad i skogen och pekar ut olika träd och växter.

as an FYI, this does not include your entry to the hummingbird sanctuary. you will need cash for the entry. this is an additional 30usd PP. as for the hummingbird place.. its a MUST do for someone who loves animals or birds. it was fantastic... As for the driver, we had a great experience. he talked about things we passed and we were able to ask questions. he offered alternate places to stop but we were not interested. he did stop at a mural wall we asked about so we could take some photos. He was super patient while we spent a lot of time with the hummingbirds. did not rush us at all. car was clean and i would recommend.

The experience was really once in a lifetime - we got to hand feed hummingbirds and finches with the guidance of the team at the Sanctuary. It is a relatively small attraction but has beautiful views, and if you like birds and wildlife you will love this. Ellis Tours and Transfers were excellent too, our pick up arrived on time, and our driver was very accomodating, mentioning other attractions we could do as part of this trip if we had wanted to, but we also didn't feel any pressure to add anything on. Overall, we highly recommend!!
