Roatán Rum Company är ett boutiquedestilleri beläget på Roatán Island, Honduras. Den är känd för sina handgjorda, småsatsiga romer med tropiska smaker som mango, kokos och choklad, och erbjuder gratis provningar, romkakor och ett unikt ”Blendatorium” där besökare kan skapa anpassade romblandningar. Viktig information Observera : Alla turer går på fartygstid, inte lokal ötid, om inget annat anges. Vår personal kommer att vara i hamnen från det att ditt fartyg lägger till och kommer att vänta på dig vid den angivna mötesplatsen. Isla Tropicale – karnevalshamnen, Roatán Upphämtningsanvisningar : För att träffa vår personal går du cirka 2–5 minuter utanför terminalen. Om så önskas kan du också ta en taxi för $ 2 per person till mötesplatsen utanför hamnen. Vår personal väntar med en skylt där det står ”2K’s Adventures Tours”. Upphämtningstid : En timme efter att ditt fartyg anlänt, eller så snart du kan gå i land och nå mötesplatsen. Kajplats 1 – Roatáns hamn Efter att ha lämnat fartyget, gå genom hamnen förbi butikerna och målade väggen. Sväng höger ner i gången genom kioskområdet som erbjuder självständiga turer. Följ den täckta gångvägen och skyltar mot ”Hamnkontor”, ”Taxi” och ”Utfart”. Fortsätt rakt igenom paviljongområdet och gå ut genom Gate 1 — porten som leder till centrum. Vårt team väntar precis utanför grinden med en skylt där det står ”2K’s Adventures Tours”. Gäster som bor på ön Vi erbjuder upphämtning och avlämning för gäster som bor på hotell, resorter eller Airbnbs. Isaiah was so kind and knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the island. Enjoyed seeing a lot of sights and being with him for the day!!
Very interesting learning about each animal. We didn’t get to hold the sloth, but that was alright. We didn’t get a picture with it. We all enjoyed ourselves.

However, Honduran law does not allow us to let visitors hold the animals, as these regulations are in place to protect their health and welfare. For anyone that’s wants more info, I gave it 5 stars because it was an overall great experience. The photo is misleading, you are going to a wildlife sanctuary and all the animals are in cages. You are guaranteed to see monkeys and birds and even interact with them.

Great customer service! Viator provided us with a private driver rather than have us wait for other travelers. Our driver Jeff James was excellent. He gave us history of the island and patiently waited while we completed tour activities.

We came for the monkeys and sloths but got so much more! Edward was our tour guide who was phenomenal. He was friendly, engaging, local, and knowledgeable. We had missed the cruise crowds so had extra time for coffee tasting across from the rum tasting. Bought the variety packs everywhere to sample all of the goodness (chocolate, rum, coffee) The cinnamon rolls from Coleman’s bakery were delicious. Photo op at Roatan sign included. 1000% recommend!

Great tour! Our guide greeted us and after a short walk to his car, we started our private tour. The animal sanctuary was nice, great time rum tasting and chocolate store. Would definitely book again!

Be prepared to spend time with monkeys birds, and sloths on this excursion. An awesome time if you enjoy nature and wildlife. Additionally, you’ll get to sample some delicious native chocolate and rum. Stanley (Stan the Man) is a great tour guide. He added a lot of local flavor and information to the trip. If you want to get a feel for what Roatan is like as well as have a fun half day, I highly recommend the excursion. Also, just a sidenote, you should probably wear sneakers as opposed to flip-flops. There’s some uneven ground and better safe than sorry. Very much recommended.

Great day getting to hold the monkeys and see a sloth and lots of other animals. Got to stop and take a pic at the Roatan sign and the highest point on the island. Also got to sample some chocolates and rum but that stop is more like a store to try and get you to buy things. The animals were definitely the highlight for us! Definitely recommend!
