River of Golden Dreams Kanot och kajak självguidad utflykt

Beskrivning

Fantastic morning on the river with great support from our guides, Jack and Jess. Stunning scenery, nothing too arduous from a paddling perspective and informative commentary about Whistler and surrounding area. Would highly recommend.
It was a beautiful day, our instructors jack and ollie were very helpful and patient. It went very smoothly. Rachel was there at pickup and made sure everyone got out of boat safely. The team was amazing. I even got an employee’s number, bonus!
Sick ride beautiful scenery and jacks really cool!
This was such an amazing experience! Jack was our guide it all went smoothly, and Rachel was soo lovely and efficient with picking us up at the other end. All the staff at backroads are so lovely and welcoming!!
Sooooo much fun! And beautiful! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our canoe trip and river experience. Spencer and Jack were helpful, professional and went above and beyond to make our time special. We will do this again for sure!
We were a large group that paddled on a cool and rainy day, which turns out to be a great temperature for canoeing in the open wilderness. The 4 hour journey down the river flew by as we were having a blast, laughing and chatting.
We were a group of 20ish women and we had a great time! We were self guided. The tour company was great at accommodating our large group. Even though it rained on us here and there, we still hooted and hollered our way through the river and had a great time. Turns out, steering a canoe does require some skill! Most of us had never done it before and were terrible canoe-ers! Still, no one capsized and we made it through all the little obstacles without issue. It was great fun and just challenging enough to be exciting. It’s a very pretty nature experience. Would be great to do with kids too.
This was by far the best experience we've had in Whistler! And we've been going there for 26+ years. Myself and 20 girlfriends were on a getaway with no husbands or kids and just wanted to have some fun. The river of Golden dreams trip was exactly that. You do not have to be an experienced paddler. It was beautiful. Spencer and Jack were beyond accommodating. They did things above and beyond that they needed to and we are so grateful. The rest of the staff was extremely accommodating as well for booking our reservation and they even threw in some extras at no charge. We will definitely be back and thank you so much for making our vacation so special
Whistler is a beautiful place and so is this river. We took our 16 and 19 year old sons and my mother who is in her 70’s and everyone had a great time.
Our family of two parents, two young adults and two teens had a great time on the River of Golden Dreams. We saw two bears and two beavers which were the highlight of our Twilight Tour. I definitely recommend choosing a guided tour. We came across a self-guided group on inflatables that was lost (and cold) and two of our group capsized (from not following instructions properly). Jack was our guide and he knew exactly what to do as well providing warm, dry clothes. Thanks Jack for a great tour!
