Christian and Brandon gave us a perfect afternoon in which we saw crocodiles, flamingos, all kinds of birds, and raccoons. In addition, they take your preferences into account to adapt the route. I definitely recommend it.
Wonderful!!! We loved the tour. The service is excellent. Brandon responds very quickly to book, all via WhatsApp, super practical and safe. Very punctual, we arrived and they were already waiting for us. The tour that Mr. Guadalupe gave us was incredible; he provided a very thorough explanation of all the species we encountered in the mangrove and answered all our questions. Despite it not being crocodile season, he demonstrated a lot of experience, and we managed to find and admire a quite large one; it was beautiful. I totally recommend them.
It's a magical place. You have to know him
The experience was very unique and we absolutely loved it. Our guide Johan was amazing. I speak Spanish but my partner didn't and he made sure to explain everything in English so my partner would understand. He gives us a lot of interesting facts and we were able to tailor our experience to what we wanted to do (we wanted to see more crocodiles). There us admission fee to the park, but it didn't come as a suprise because we were told when we booked the experience. The tour we did was around 3 hours, we visited the flamingos, saw different species of birds, crocodiles and we were able to chill by the beach to clean off the clay. It was a truly unforgettable experience. I 100% recommend. We also called just the day before.
We traveled from Texas with our teenage son, looking to escape the typical crowded excursions, and choosing Aventuremos Río Lagartos was the best decision we made. We opted for a midday private tour, and cruising through the mangrove tunnels felt like being in a nature documentary. Our guide was an absolute expert at spotting animals we never would have noticed. We saw beautiful herons, eagles, a couple of massive crocodiles resting on the bank, and the flamingos looked stunning up close in the daylight (I managed to take the best photos of my entire Yucatan trip!). The highlight for our family was doing the famous "Mayan bath" with the clay; it was so much fun, and washing off the mud at the beach in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico was incredibly refreshing. The boat was very comfortable, and the team went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect day. For a private, personalized family tour with guides who know the area so well, the price is a real steal. If you are visiting Yucatan, you absolutely cannot miss this!
My partner and I traveled from the US, and booking this private tour with the Aventuremos Rio Lagartos team was easily the best part of our vacation. It was an incredible adventure from start to finish! We saw so much wildlife, we counted 6 crocodiles and got up close and personal with the flamingos. The craziest and most fun part was when some curious pelicans literally hopped right into our boat! We also got to swim at an absolutely stunning virgin beach in the Gulf of Mexico, which felt so exclusive and peaceful. The attention and service from the team were simply wonderful. Honestly, considering the personalized experience and everything we got to do, the tour felt incredibly cheap. It is worth every single penny. I can't recommend them enough!
