På morgonen tar bussbussen med buss till början av vandringslederna i Rila Lakes-området och basstationen på stolhissen, där du kan ta stolhöjden upp i berget. Du har mer än 5 timmar för din egen guidade rundtur i Rila Lakes-området. Efter det på eftermiddagen tar delad buss till Rila-klostret - Bulgariens mest besökta kulturella och historiska plats. Du har mer än en timme att utforska klostrets webbplats på egen hand.

It is a very good excursion to do something different. Philip, the guide, was very friendly and attentive. All the instructions are very clear. The 7 Lakes route is not easy, since the path is full of rocks. But it is worth it for the views. The monastery was very beautiful and different.
This tour is incredibly efficient - for the price, you get a full day of activities, breathtaking views, and comfortable transportation. The guide was excellent, explained everything in detail, and provided us with a useful map. One important tip for future travellers: take the departure times seriously! The bus leaves on time, and apparently on almost every tour someone misses it and has to make their own way back. So keep an eye on the time and don’t rely on the bus waiting for you. Overall, highly recommended - great experience and excellent value for money.
Simply the best Simply the best
Amazing trip! It says it is self guided but doesn’t feel that way because the guide provides maps, commentary and a brilliant WhatsApp update system. The walk is well marked. It does take some exertion but no scrambling and footing is fine both up and down. The monastery is also beautiful.
All the information was so clear: The information itself and the way it was provided to us! The guide send us photos of the meeting points and we had at the lakes and at the monestry the exact time that we needed!
One of the best tours I have ever taken, breathtaking landscapes that are absolutely worth seeing, but above all I must thank our guide Philip who does his job impeccably, with unique kindness and helpfulness. Thank you!!
We had an absolute blast in the mountains. The bus is very comfortable and Philip is a great host! Great information about the trails, with a very good indication of the time it takes. The bus is punctual and gets you to the bottom of the lift before it gets too busy (on a weekday). When you get to the Rila monestary most of the tourists have already left so you can take in its beauty in relative peace. The mountains and the Rila lakes were the absolute highlight of the trip, absolutely worth your time and money!
