Jag heter Riga. Jag föddes för mer än åtta århundraden sedan vid Daugavafloden och sedan dess har jag blivit mycket vackrare och attraktivare. Min far var biskop Albert av Livland och jag var nöjd med det, men sedan kom många utlänningar, som ville erövra mitt hjärta. Men jag lyckades hålla mig stark och stolt. Lyssna på mitt namn igen – Ri-ga. Det låter som musik, som ett löfte, som en hemlighet. Kom och upptäck det!

Great tour. Love Riga! Very beautiful. Be sure to wear good shoes- tons of cobblestone walkways. Guide was great, knowledgeable and friendly.

Wear good walking shoes. Lots of cobblestone. Very informative. Guide was very good, just had a bit of problem with hearing apparatus.

Excellent historical overview of the city. The pace was good and we learned a lot. Although I had trouble with the headset initially, it was swapped out and then worked fine. Two others had trouble with the headsets as well. I would definitely recommend this walking tour as a nice way to learn about Riga. There was non-stop flow of information.

Nice pace and great explanations
Ideal to get to know more about the city that could easily go unnoticed, this 90-min tour is full of interesting facts. It was nicely paced and our guide, Gunta was informative and entertaining!
We were looking for a smaller group walking tour and this one was perfect. Turned out to be only 3 of us, guided by Gunta, who was excellent. She took time to explain the history and and provided the color and experience that only a native could. Riga is a beautiful city with a picturesque old town. Sure you could walk around and see the sites … but you only get the background and insights from a guide like Gunta. Thanks for a great tour!
