*Warning* this group is not accommodating to cancellations. Almost all the other groups I read about were accommodating to last minute cancellations. We had a medical emergency. My son had an eye injury and we went to emergency clinic. They advised not to go on the tour. I explained this to the group, and at first it seemed they would kindly refund us due to the incident. They then suggested he go anyway, or leave him behind. I explained he was 8 years old, we are on a family vacation I can't leave him behind. They were unwilling to make any concessions, not even offer half our money back. This is a warning to book with other groups that are not just about the money, and more accommodating. Originally, we chose them due to a 2 hour experience vs, 5. As I mentioned we have 2 small children. I also noticed they do not have many reviews at all. Perhaps a new business. If they keep up this kind of customer care they may not last. Sadly, I have to write this review to warn other customers and families.

Booked as a group, though they overbooked or something, got separated. Had to take turns so our schedule pushed back around two hours. Booked at 12Pm. Two in the morning on the day we booked they gave me a text message that we have to come an hour early. Of course I couldn’t make it. I told them three minutes is the earliest I can arrive And they separated our group. On the photos, it looked like we were gonna ride a horse at red rock or like amazing place, but it ended up to be in a plain flat desert and nothing really to see and we just did a whole big circle and that’s it. The guide seemed fine. He was nice but compared to the price and what we got. It just wasn’t good.

We recently went on a horseback riding trip, and I have to say the actual experience at the ranch was fantastic. The ride itself was beautiful — we went during sunset, and it was such a peaceful, memorable experience. The horses were calm and well-trained, and the ranchers were incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They really made us feel comfortable and taken care of once we arrived. That being said, the customer service leading up to the trip was extremely frustrating. There is no way to speak to a live person — everything is handled through text and email. The communication was unclear, and the contracts and waivers felt excessive and stressful. It made the entire booking process feel overwhelming and uncomfortable. We also had a few issues with logistics. Our group had 13 people, and when we arrived, we were told we had to split into two separate rides. While we appreciated that we weren’t charged extra, we were expecting to ride and dine together as a group, which didn’t happen. The food was okay, but not quite what we expected for a “sunset dinner.” Some items, like the ribs and beans, were delicious, and they also served cornbread, corn on the cob, and apple pie. However, we had requested two vegetarian meals in advance, and those were not provided, which left two people in our group without food. Overall, the experience at the ranch itself was wonderful — beautiful setting, great horses, and amazing ranch staff. But the lack of customer service and communication beforehand made the process much more stressful than it needed to be. If they improve their communication experience, I would definitely consider booking this again. But as it stands, the booking process is entirely too stressful and the communication is very unclear.

Absolutely wonderful and peaceful. Everyone was kind! Kym paired everyone with the perfect horse and was very informative on landscaping, history, etc. I definitely recommend and will taking her other tour next time we come.

Our guide was amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable and worked really hard to make sure it was an enjoyable excursion. Horses were calm and relaxed, so good for any level of rider. Beautiful sunset!

Silver State Horseback Riding has horrible customer service. I was accused of taking another customer's food when I purchased a ticket that included a bbq dinner. Since they did not have that information on their end from Viator, and despite me sharing screenshots of my ticket that does include dinner, that somehow made up for the tour guide ending our ride after 15 minutes and them refusing atleast a partial refund of my $260 purchase. The tour guide was concerned about the dark clouds and ended early for safety and while I completely understand safety, we waited outside in the same weather he was concerned about for nearly 30 minutes to receive two cold plates of barbecue only for the guide to say we probably could have kept on riding, since the rain he was expecting never came. The tour guide was great but the customer service of the company sucks!

Had our tour this evening, our guide was lovely & very knowledgeable about the area. She was so patient with the children in our group, and the horses were so well behaved. The scenery of the trial is stunning and there is plenty of wildlife around. On our way home we even spotted a wild donkey! Our meal was delicious; the corn bread & BBQ beans were a bit hit! Thanks for making our last night in Vegas memorable. Our son has said it's been his favourite thing of our 2 week trip!! Thanks guys xxx

Terrible Communication and Unprofessional Experience I had an incredibly disappointing experience. Communication was absolutely awful — I only received a message on the day of the ride, despite having booked in advance. Then, I was asked to change not just the time but the actual date of the ride, which completely disrupted my plans. They kept messing me around with start times, and nothing was confirmed clearly until the last minute. On top of that, the meeting location listed when booking is totally misleading. It ended up being an hour away from the Las Vegas Strip, which is completely unfeasible for most visitors who don't have their own transport or weren't expecting a long commute. Despite all the changes they made to the booking - and the fact that the experience became logistically impossible - they refused to issue a refund. This felt incredibly unfair and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable or custom friendly experience.

We only rode for 45mins and we did not receive the bbq lunch. Our tour guide was made and rush the ride due to her wanting to shot a music video with her friends. She was rude to the horses. I was concerned with the condition of the trail and the damaged it did to the horse's feet. The tour guide was not concerned at all and that's animal cruelty.

We took this tour on Christmas day. Our reservation was messed up, but, ultimately corrected. This adventure is not on a ranch, it’s in the middle of the desert. The photo is the dinner we were handed in plastic bags. There was no table or light to eat by, and unclear where the food was while we were riding? Very poor customer service. Do not recommend.
