Res med linbana i Mexico City-Iztapalapa

Jag förstår att utlänningar är rädda för att besöka det fattiga området i Mexico City. Det är sant att det finns mycket farliga områden och de är inte vackra att se. Jag skulle vilja att utlänningar öppnade sina sinnen och vågade sig ut ur områden som Polanco, Roma eller Reforma. Vi tar transporten som vanliga mexikaner använder dagligen. Vid ankomsten till den första linbanestationen kommer vi att börja se gettot och dess omgivningar. Vi kan gå runt men bara på specifika platser på resan. Vi kommer aldrig att gå ner i röda områden. Från den punkten kommer jag att ge er information om de olika samhällsklasserna i Mexiko och varför detta land fortsätter att vara en plats av fattigdom. På samma sätt kommer vi att tala om mexikansk kultur och dess värdefulla människor. Särskilt om människorna som bor i det området. Man har inte alltid möjlighet att resa till en plats som Latinamerika. Så du måste göra det mesta av resan. Turen är Engelska och/eller Spanska. Hos mig är du trygg:)

De flesta turister besöker alltid samma platser. De känner inte till det riktiga Mexiko. Med mig kan du lära dig om mexikanernas liv utan att vara i fara. Jag möter dig vid Bellas Artes tunnelbanestation och från den punkten börjar vår resa med kollektivtrafik till början av Cablebús (linbanan). Jag kommer att vara med dig hela tiden, så det kommer inte att vara någon fara. Tillsammans kommer vi att resa genom himlen i det marginaliserade området i Mexico City. Vi kommer inte vid något tillfälle att gå ut på de farliga gatorna, så resan är väldigt säker och perfekt för att lära känna den andra verkligheten som nästan ingen pratar om. Vi återkommer till samma utgångspunkt. Perfekt för att njuta av Museum of Fine Arts. På denna resa kommer språket att talas på engelska och/eller spanska.

If you want to step off the beaten path, book this experience. Luis was an exceptional guide—thoughtful, highly knowledgeable, and deeply considerate. He gave us a captivating glimpse into local life outside the bustling center of Mexico City. The long gondola ride was peaceful and a major highlight!

Jose was a great host provided detailed insight of the area! We took the metro to the cable cars, which offered amazing views of the area below and gave us a chance to see the real Mexico. We also took a stroll around the neighborhood and were lucky enough to catch the flea market while it was on. A fantastic experience and highly recommended!

Jose Luis was a very friendly, conversational and an interesting tour guide! We learned a lot and got to see a remote part of Mexico City that most visitors don't see - from the comfort of the cable cars, which are surprisingly modern, smooth, and safe!

Our Tour Guide Jose Luis was the Best Tour Guide so far because he delivered the Best Insights of Mexico City History. He made sure we understood everything around the area that was happening during our Tour Guide. He went Above and Beyond our Expectations during our Cable Car Tour to explain everything about Mexico City Culture and History. This was an absolutely unique experience and one of the most enjoyable things that we did in Mexico City. The cable cars are incredibly efficient and give amazing views of the city. Luis also took us to a large public market where we were able to sample the food and buy some keepsakes. Luis is a superb guide with excellent English skills

We just got on subway at the Fine Arts museum at the historic city centre (at 10 am, past the morning rush hour) for about 50 cents per person, went all the way to the end station and took the cablecar from there - to the end and back. It's part of theur public transit and cist another 25 cents or so. The views are incredible, the locals were curious and asked us where we were from. The staff at the station let women with children yo join our car, but not single men - it's super safe.
It was definitely great to be able to see the real mexico city with a great tour guide. felt safe the whole time and he treated me to great snacks and tacos in the area!!
USA and Mexico are very similar in a certain way. Thank you for spending your time with me, I had a really great time with you :) Please visit me again, let's eat quesadillas again haha :)

We had a great time with Luis. It was a great way to see a different part of Mexico City and get a local’s perspective. The tour was informative and interesting and we enjoyed riding the cable cars and the views from above. We definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking for something different and off the beaten path.
