Turen är en av våra exklusiva och innovativa produkter till berget av färger. Istället för att gå i tre timmar uppförsbacke byter vi den mot äventyret att köra fyrhjulingarna tills vi når toppen av regnbågsberget, denna tur är ett komplett äventyr för en helt annan upplevelse och unik i besöket på Rainbow Mountain eller Vinincunca. I denna tur behöver vi inte vandra för att komma fram till regnbågsberget, nu i dag är detta det enklaste sättet att besöka det mest berömda vinincunca regnbågsberget.

Vår stora tur mot berget av färger i ATVs börjar med upphämtning av turister på sina respektive hotell. Vi gör oss redo att resa i vår turisttransport för 2,40 timmar ca. till staden Japura (4200mts asl), anländer till denna plats ca. kl. 6 : 20, där vår läckra frukostbuffé väntar oss.
Efter frukost kommer vår Guide att ge nödvändiga instruktioner för att starta det stora äventyret i ATVS resa till Gosqopata för en genomsnittlig tid på 1 timme och sedan gå i 35 minuter, en sträcka på 1,5 kilometer för att nå utsiktsplatsen för det imponerande berget av 7 färger (5038mts över havet). I Färgernas berg har vi tillräckligt med tid att ta de bästa bilderna eftersom vi är de första att nå det. Vi kommer att vara där utan konglomerat av turister en perfekt tid att ta bilder, spela in videor och njuta av skönheten i färgerna. Efter besöket återvänder vi i 25 minuter till platsen där vi lämnar ATV:erna och sedan tar var och en våra ATV:er och återvänder till staden Japura där vår läckra väntar oss lunch. Efter lunch återvänder vi till Cusco och anländer till snitt 15:30, vi avslutar turen på motsvarande hotell.

Rainbow mountain is spectacular to see in person. The views were outstanding. Riding the ATV and motorcycles to the almost top was a much easier alternative than hiking. The altitude makes hiking difficult! Dress really warm, it was cold and windy at the top. Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. It is a long day with about a 3 hour drive each way.
They picked me up directly at my hotel in the morning. The breakfast and lunch were good. Basic things eggs and things for breakfast. Lunch had a very tasty soup. I would recommend not eating too much at breakfast if you get motion sickness in vehicles. A few in the group got sick, the ride is a little rough up to the atv spot. Make sure to bring gloves and hat. They do sell some, I’m not sure if the price since I had my own. Take your time walking around if you’re not used to the elevation. Deep breaths. I’m glad I did it with an atv. I couldn’t imagine hiking up the trails. 🙂

We were really looking forward to our Rainbow Mountain tour, but unfortunately the pickup experience turned what should have been an amazing day into a very frustrating one. Our original pickup time was 3:30 AM. The day before the tour, the company changed it to 3:00–3:15 AM and sent the update through WhatsApp. Unfortunately, I never saw the message because I rarely use WhatsApp and did not have notifications turned on while traveling. At 3:05 AM, the tour guide called while we were still getting ready. We rushed down to the hotel lobby and got there around 3:15 AM, but the tour had already left. When I called the guide, he told us we would have to take a taxi and catch up with the group ourselves. We decided not to miss the tour, so with the help of our hotel staff, we spent a long time coordinating with the guide about where to meet them. In the end, we were told to meet the group at their breakfast stop, nearly two hours away. We had to pay 255 soles for a taxi just to catch up with the tour, arriving right as the group was about to leave. This was honestly one of the most stressful travel experiences we’ve had. The guide apologized several times and said it was a miscommunication, but we never really understood why the group couldn’t wait a few more minutes for us, especially when the pickup time had been changed at the last minute. What made it even harder to accept was what happened later. After the Rainbow Mountain hike, the entire group waited about 30 minutes for another guest who returned late. That felt very unfair to us. We were left behind because of a five-minute delay after a schedule change we didn’t even know about, yet the group was willing to wait half an hour for someone else. I understand that mistakes happen, and I do believe the guide realized he made one. However, the consequences for us were significant. Being left behind and then having to spend two hours and 255 soles chasing the tour was simply not acceptable. It added a lot of unnecessary stress to what should have been an enjoyable experience. Rainbow Mountain itself was beautiful, but unfortunately this experience left a very negative impression of the tour company.
I would do this again in a heart beat! This entire experience was well packaged, seamlessly coordinated and well paced. The host was very warm and friendly and super responsive. There was a slight change to the time on our itinerary and that was communicated well in advance. In any event, that change made the experience even more worthwhile! It was definitely an adrenaline filled tour that made me crave more! We got to rainbow mountain without the difficulty of a hike but still had the opportunity to hike parts of it, if we opted to. I enjoyed myself and would recommend !
Amazing ATV tour to Rainbow Mountain! The ride itself was an adventure with incredible views the whole way. Our guide, Jose Luis, was fantastic. Everything was very well organized. We felt very safe the entire time. Rainbow Mountain was absolutely stunning in person, and this was one of the highlights of our trip!
I was debating between hiking Rainbow Mountain and taking this tour... and I'm so grateful I picked the ATVs! The views were absolutely breathtaking, the ride super fun & the staff kind and helpful. We expected to have to hike the last bit and were surprised when they had locals on dirt bikes drive us instead (this wasn't mentioned). I personally enjoyed it, but I know some of my travel peers didn't enjoy that part as much. I also highly recommend doing the 8 am start time, as there were barely any people on the mountain when we went. 100% worth it!

The guides were so special. They had such great energy and felt like family. I am grateful they were part of the experience because they made it so enjoyable.
Sergio was a great host. It was both of our first time on an ATV and we felt safe the entire time. Would def recommend.
