Efter att ha träffat din guide kan du utforska verkligheten i det romska samhället i Rumänien och besöka en genuin verkstad i stadens centrum, där romska hantverkare, även kända som zigenare, skapar och marknadsför sina verk. Välj ditt önskade smycke att tillverka under ledning av en autentisk romsk hantverkare. Du tar med dig dina tillverkade smycken hem i slutet av workshopen. Även om aktiviteten fokuserar på att lära sig konsten att tillverka koppar, kan du välja den uppgraderade versionen med silver. I slutet av ditt besök har du fått inblick i den romska befolkningens historia i Rumänien och utvecklat dina egna tankar och åsikter genom verkliga erfarenheter och interaktioner med autentiska romska representanter.

This was a very interesting experience, we left the workshop with a smile and little token of our own making. We spent a little bit of time understanding the history of the Roma people and their lives in Romania before and after the country became a country. We had plenty opportunities to ask questions and prompt our guide to talk more about a subject or define it in more detail. I think this little tour was informative for us, but would probably be very interesting to native Romanians or Roma people themselves too! The jewel workshop was fun - it's a small and relaxed area full of tools. We got shown the steps we need to take to make the jewellery that we chose for ourselves, during the techniques we got the necessary guidance but also were left alone to work on our things in peace. Very nice experience.
