Unfortunately we didn’t see much of the Rau forest, as one of us is having trouble walking, but the guides tried very hard to make that work, even bringing along a chair to rest in. What we DID experience was the cooking class with Mama Matalo. What a wonderful time! We helped with the preparation, including making coconut milk, then we watched as they masterfully created six delicious dishes over a fire. It was a lot of fun and very interesting. Also delicious!
It was an experience I would definately recommend! The cooking class with mama was incredible. She showed me how to make a lot of dishes and we went to visit the market. The walk around Rau forest was also a very informative. I really enjoyed, especially when we arrived at the hidden ricefields. The view is just incredible!

What a fantastic experience! The cycling tour was great, we have been really well guided by our guide Daniel, a friendly man who could tell us a lot about the locals and the beautiful nature, agriculture, animals,... It was a great experience, the walk in the Rau forest felt magical. We saw many monkeys (colobes and blue monkey) and our guide Nassoro taught us a lot of things about plants and insect. Go with this tour without any hesitation !
