Batu Caves är en kalkstenskulle, som har en serie grottor och grotttempel, som ligger i Gombak-distriktet, 13 kilometer (8 miles) norr om Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Den har fått sitt namn från Sungai Batu eller Batu River, som rinner förbi kullen. Batu Caves är också namnet på den närliggande byn. Batu Caves är en av de mest populära hinduiska helgedomarna utanför Indien, tillägnad Lord Murugan. Det är fokuspunkten för den hinduiska festivalen Thaipusam i Malaysia. Det är också känt som tionde grottorna eller kullen för Lord Muruga eftersom det är en av de tio viktigaste helgedomarna i Indien och Malaysia. Putra-moskén är den huvudsakliga moskén i Putrajaya, Malaysia. Byggandet av moskén började 1997 och slutfördes två år senare. Den rosa kupolformade Putra-moskén är konstruerad med rosétonad granit och består av tre huvudsakliga funktionella områden - bönehallen, Sahn eller innergården, och olika läroanläggningar och festlokaler. Designad 2005 för att inleda det nya millenniet, detta är det första monumentet som byggdes i Putrajaya. Det ligger i Putrajayas Precinct 3, mittemot Justitiepalatset och bredvid Islamic Complex Putrajaya, en religiös myndighets högkvarter. "Järnmoskén" har ett fjärrkylsystem och fläktar eller ett luftkonditioneringssystem. Moskén använder "arkitektoniskt trådnät" importerat från Tyskland och Kina, som också är byggt på Santiago Bernabéu Stadium i Madrid och Bibliothèque nationale de France i Paris.
Den marockanska paviljongen förtjänar fem stjärnor för Instaworthiness, om ett sådant betyg finns. Byggd för att symbolisera de diplomatiska banden mellan de två regeringarna, den fantastiska arkitekturen och det delikata hantverket påminner om Marockos byar och kejserliga städer.

Unfortunately, we didn't really have a guide. We had a driver who didn't really provide any information. We were dropped off at the mosque in Putrajaya. There is really nothing to do there unless you want a boat ride. Thought we were going to see the government building but drove past it. Batu caves are amazing!!!! Again, no information or history was given. The driver was very polite and courteous, but you could do this much cheaper with the Grab app.
Our driver was Shiba, he was very nice and professional. We did not go to the last 3 stops but that may have been on us . We wanted to take the 45 minute cruise and we needed to wait 20 minutes for it. We also took our time at the Batu caves and at the Putrajaya mosque. We never felt rushed and Shiba Also assisted us in taking pictures at the sites. He also took us to the Kings palace which was not on the itinerary and gave us time to take pictures and admire the palace and surroundings. This is not a guided tour and it clearly states it on “what’s included “ before you purchase the ticket . You are purchasing a ticket for a private driver to pick you up at the hotel take you to the sites in an air conditioned car and drop you off at the hotel . If you get an in depth tour take it as a bonus but don’t hold it against your driver if he/she doesn’t as he or she is not a tour guide . I also noted complains about the pigeons , the monkeys, and the lack of cleanliness of the Batu caves. I highly recommend going at 7:00 am as there are very few monkeys at that time , less pigeons , and less people . I saw someone trying to sweep the trash on the steps (so there is effort to keep it clean) so I guess the people trashing the place are responsible for the lack of cleanliness . I recommend the Batu Caves because it is a unique experience while in Malaysia I will not compare it to other countries. I enjoyed this tour for what it was a nice professional driver taking me to sites I wanted to see not be rushed and best of all in an air conditioned car .

The tour guide was not interested to explain anything to us. Basically he was like a hired driver for the day and just dumped us at each site and told us how much time to spend at each location.
The tour was private in the sense that the guide was 'one man band' as driver of a 5 seated car and the part time guide. The pros are flexible time for pick up and visit schedule, the cons are the guide was less knowledgeable, e. g., just introducing the name of the sites, focusing on driving and duration of each visit. Perhaps luck can let us choose a balance between a safe and well-informed tour.
Fauzi was an excellent driver, was on time and was very knowledgeable about the history of Putrejaya and Malaysia in general. The tour organizer contacted us via WhatsApp the night before with Fauzi’s vehicle information and pick up time. We visited all the sites as advertised and we never felt rushed.
Car was spacious, clean and A/C worked good. Driver waited for us even when staying longer than expected at certain visits, although we did have to skip the last visit because of this but that was on us. Would book again to avoid hassle of finding transportation from one place to another. Would recommend asking for a tour of the “steel mosque” that was the highlight of our trip.

This is a good trip if you have already done the city tour - we hadn't! It is a lot of travelling but worthwhile to see the stunning mosques, government buildings and a different area outside the city. Our driver was lovely. She was knowledgeable about the places and very flexible when we decided to change some of the plans! We enjoyed her company and she tried really hard to make sure we enjoyed our trip.

Amazing experience. The driver was really friendly, the car was new and very clean and comfy. He picked us up on time from the lobby and adjusted the timing based on our preferences. Definitely this tour company and the tour itself are highly recommended

Recomended, it is easy to go from 1 place to another for photo stop as we were travelling with senior citizens. Driver was helpful as he actually help us to snap photos.
