Putrajaya som Malasias administrativa huvudstad, har Putrajaya positionerat sig som ett turistmål med sin fängslande arkitektur och pittoreska landskap. Putrajaya är en stad i Malaysia, söder om Kuala Lumpur. Det är känt för sin sena 1900-talsarkitektur inklusive Putra-moskén, gjord av rosfärgad granit med en rosa kupol. I närheten ligger den enorma, gröna kupolen Perdana Putra, som innehåller premiärministerens kontor. Den 3-planlagda Putra-bron är inspirerad av iransk arkitektur med fyra bryggor av minaretyp med utsikt över den konstgjorda sjön Putrajaya.

Det första stoppet är en av sju broar i Putrajaya, som är den mest eleganta. Kabelbron på 240 m har en futuristisk design som lånar formen på ett segelfartyg. Seri Wawasan-bron är synlig från många utsiktspunkter i staden.
Putrajaya-sjön är en sjö som ligger i centrum av Putrajaya, Malaysia. Denna manliga sjö på 650 hektar är utformad för att fungera som ett naturligt kylsystem för staden och även för rekreation, fiske, vattensporter och vattentransport.
Rosfärgad granit ger Putra-moskén sin ikoniska rosa nyans, en elegans som reflekterar lika anmärkningsvärt på insidan som på utsidan. Moskén byggdes vid sjön 1997 och har plats för upp till 15 000 dyrkare. Besökare skulle stanna in för fotografier med detta sofistikerade landmärke, som fick inspiration från malaysiska och Mellanösternens influenser.
Denna imponerande byggnad ligger ovanför huvudkullen i Putrajaya och fångar ögonen med sin palatiala gröna kupol och stenmurar. Kontorskomplexet har en blandning av islamisk och modern arkitektur där ministrar och högre tjänstemän arbetar. Det är inte öppet för besökare, men du kan fortfarande beundra dess storhet från utsidan.
Ett av de bästa sätten att se stadens sevärdheter är genom att ta en 45-minuters sightseeingskryssning på dagen eller på kvällen på en bekväm luftkonditionerad 76-sits kryssningsbåt. Båtturer i gondolstil är också tillgängliga.
Seri Perdana är den officiella residensen för malaysiska premiärministern, belägen i Putrajaya, Malaysia.
Iron Mosque (eller Tunku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque) är ett annat arkitektoniskt underverk som är värt att kolla in. Konstruerad främst av stål, "trådnät" arkitektur hämtar inspiration från kinesiska och tyska mönster. Till skillnad från andra moskéer i Malaysia finns det ingen minaret som används för att kräva böner. På avstånd ser det ut som om det är tillverkat av metall eller glas.
Detta designades 2005 för att inleda det nya årtusendet och är det första monumentet som byggdes i Putrajaya. Gångvägen som kretsar runt monumentet illustrerar malaysiska historia, panelerna beskriver viktiga händelser i landet. Det finns en tidskapsel vid foten av monumentet som öppnas 2020. När du går upp längs rampen till Millenniummonumentet kan du se en vidsträckt utsikt över vattnet.
Istana Melawati är det andra nationella palatset i Malaysia Yang di-Pertuan Agong i Putrajaya efter Istana Negara i Kuala Lumpur. Det fungerar som en kunglig tillflyktsort för Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Den marockanska paviljongen förtjänar fem stjärnor för instaworthiness, om ett sådant betyg finns. Byggt för att symbolisera de diplomatiska banden mellan de två regeringarna, liknar den fantastiska arkitekturen och det känsliga hantverket en likhet med byarna och de kejserliga städerna i Marocko.

Overall, this tour was a bit disappointing. The main reason we booked the Putrajaya City Tour was to visit and go inside the Pink mosque, however we were not informed at the time of booking that on Fridays it is closed to visitors until after 3pm due to prayers. As a result, we were unable to enter the mosque , which was frustrating as this was the highlight of the tour for us. If this was communicated to us we could have chosen another time to visit. The rest of the tour was fairly average. It was nice to see parts of the city and surrounding areas, but it didn’t make up for missing the main experience we had booked for. That said, the guide was friendly and informative, and did their best to provide information throughout the tour.
The driver was lovely but this "tour" is just a way for the company to scam tourists. Calling it a tour in the title is a lie, it is essentially an overpriced taxi which you could organise your self for a fraction of the cost. Do not do this. Also made very uncomfortable by the driver having to take compulsory photos of me at different places to send his boss. Not female solo traveller friendly.

Great experience to have. The driver was on time, the vehicle was very clean, with air conditioning. The driver was very clear and very explicit. The experience was rewarding, we enjoyed it very much. The only thing I think about improving would be to increase the visit time to the sites "putra mosque" and "perdona putra", because the walking time to reach these sites is already long enough from the parking lot.

Driver was 30 mins late, could barely understand each other. Said he was just a driver and didnt even tell us where he was taking us, we had to Google it once we could understand what he was saying. Basically what youre paying is a ride to some of the places listed on the tour and you have to figure out the rest. Then took us to the botanic garden which wasn't even listed in the stops of the tour and said to just go walk around. Paid for a car for 4 people and we were squeezed in the back seat. It was just a bad experience overall. The architecture we did see was beautiful.
Had very good experience with driver Raj from the tour company assigned by Viator. Very helpful with the photo shooting and knowledgeable. Only issue was that the itinerary given to Raj by his tour company differed to that sold by Viator, ie 15 min stop at one mosque (masjid Tuanku Mizan) and the visit to the Moroccan was not on the list provided to Raj. There seems to be a problem with communication between Viator and the contracted tour company.

The Guide did not show up, and only bothered to let us know 15min after the tour was supposed to start. They used the fact that we changed the time of the tour 24 hours before the start as an excuse. Very poor excuse since rescheduling was confirmed. Extremely unprofessional to say the least.
It wasn't to my complete liking, a driver took me to the city, I don't know if I was a guide, he left me 2 hours to meet and just told me that was the mosque and the jabatan perdana, that I could go down and up in one of the boats that run the canal Then he took me to the steel mosque and there fortunately a volunteer guide helped me a lot with the history of the place
