Vi är på väg till Punta Tombo, Sydamerikas största magellanska pingvinkoloni. Resan tar mellan två och två och en halv timme. Besök Punta Tombo och promenera bland tusentals Magellanska pingviner. Du kommer också att se guanacos och patagoniska harar. (Vi är i Punta Tombo i en till en och en halv timme.) Efteråt återvänder vi till Puerto Madryn. Om ditt schema tillåter stannar vi vid världens största dinosauriekopia för foton (15 minuter) och njuter av en rundtur i Puerto Madryn innan vi släpper av dig vid piren (cirka 30 minuter).

Long drive but the end was well worth it to see the penguins. We made good time by getting organized early and people coming back to the van on time. Because of this, our tour guide made stops along the way back and also gave us a tour of the town. Very good trip and cheaper than the excursion on the ship.

Bit disorganised at the meeting point but once on the mini bus the guide was excellent very knowledgeable and after 2.5 hours we arrived and saw the penguins and more penguins. Arrived back at the ship in plenty of time.

Such a great experience. Mariana, our tour director, and Marcello, the driver, did everything they could to ensure we had a good visit to Punta Tomba. Mariana shared interesting historical information about the settlement of the area, local traditions as well as pertinent info on the penguins we were on the way to see. Thoroughly enjoyable.

The meeting point with the guide and getting to the bus was very disorganized and chaotic. Boarding the bus was also poorly managed, and we were not able to sit with our friends until we asked some people to move. The food was very disappointing. We ordered chicken but were served pork instead. The crackers were stale, and overall the food was not edible, so we barely ate anything. Additionally, the air conditioning on the bus was not working, and the seats were extremely tight and uncomfortable. Our guide herself was good, but from the back of the bus it was very difficult to hear her. The views were beautiful, however the overall experience was not as good as we expected, especially considering the price we paid.
Hello Safa, Thank you for giving us feedback, we are sorry to hear that you didnt like the tour. There was a mix-up with your box lunch order, we deeply regret what happened. We spoke with the people responsible for what happened to prevent it from happening again. We know there was a problem with the air conditioning, which was resolved upon arrival in Trelew, an hour after leaving Madryn. And then it worked normally for the rest of the trip. The Sprinter they traveled in is a latest model; we are surprised to learn that the seats were uncomfortable, given that it is a modern vehicle. The distances here are long, but this is indicated in our itineraries, and we try to make intermediate stops so you can get out of the vehicle and not spend too much time traveling. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the scenery and the guide's experience. We apologize again for any inconvenience caused and will work to improve our service.
Bus ride was longer than advertised; 2 1/2 hours each way. Tour guide struggled with English and therefore communication was less than preferred

Tour was excellent. Only issue was Vendor operating tour. Took 3 hours and 40 minutes to get to Punta Tombo because van blew tire 40 km for destination. If drivers had not been able to replace blown tire, we would have never made it back to cruise ship in time and been stuck in puerto madryn. Tour leader had means of communication to base as he stated we had no phone service in area. Wife later submitted review which Sussasich Trismo responded that they would have sent replacement van to bring us back. It’s 2 hours and 45 minutes from puerto madryn to Punta Tombo. We would have missed cruise ship. Then stated we didn’t even miss any time there although we were almost 50 minutes late in arriving. Had to rush to see what we did at Punta Tombo and missed some of the parks viewing sites. Never indicated company would step up to make things right with partial refund. Came way that they only interested in taking your money and don’t care about service rendered .
Andrew, a flat tire is beyond our control; these things can happen. The fact that the driver had a replacement is part of our responsibility as the operator; it wasn't a coincidence. The replacement vehicle was in the city of Trelew, not Puerto Madryn. They might have missed their visit to Tombo, but they were never at risk of missing their ship. They were able to visit the penguin colony and returned 50 minutes before their ship's departure; they were never at risk of missing it. We sent them a message the same day the tour ended, but no one responded. They only asked for a full refund for having lost 15-20 minutes at the penguin colony. This didn't happen with all the passengers, but since we understand that everyone feels differently, we offered them a partial refund, even though we paid 100% of the services. We regret their perception, but we were always in contact with the driver and guide to address the situation. Best regards, and we remain at your service as always.
Had a flat tire about 50km to final destination. Because of double tires, we were able to continue with single tire but drove at a slower speed. Driver stopped many time along the way to check tire conditions. Disappointed that Travellers were not kept informed every step of the way. Eventually got there, spent less than 1.5 hours there & returned with a replacement tire. Arrived back to cruise ship just in time.

As I mentioned privately, we stayed in contact with the guide and driver, and we also had a backup vehicle ready in case you needed assistance. We contacted you and the other passengers after the tour ended, as we didn't understand why you needed to message us beforehand, once the tour had finished. It is a long trip to the penguins, but the van was quite comfortable. And the trip was so worth it. It was incredible being so close to them. Our guide, Marcella, gave us good information as we traveled.

An excellent tour for cruise ship passengers to see the penguins at Punta Tombo, at half the price of the official Celebrity excursions. We were the second bus to leave the pier at 9.05; we arrived at the penguins at 11.50 (about 15 minutes ahead of most official Celebrity excursions); we spent 100 minutes with the penguins and left at 1.30 (eating the picnic lunch on the bus); arriving back at the pier at 4.10 (with a dinosaur stop on the way); and had plenty of time for ‘all aboard’ at 5.00.
