We rented bikes in Pula for four days with a group of ten friends and had a great experience. Cycling around the region was a wonderful way to discover the beautiful landscapes and enjoy the area. Although we were staying outside Pula, it was easy to get there by bike. Bojan was very friendly, helpful, and flexible. We highly recommend his bike rental service!

We rented mountain bikes for a 6 day cycle through Istria. We also used Pula Bikes for our luggage transfer. Pula bikes were exceptional from start to finish. Bojan was really communicative, honest, helpful, good fun, and on time for every pick up / drop off. I'd highly recommend their service.

Bojan gave us everything we needed for our six day ride in Croatia. He even kept our suitcases and returned them when we reached our destination. It was a great experience all around!

We have rented 2 e-bikes for 14 days at Pula Bike. We wanted to island hop between Zadar and Pula. That worked out great, thanks to the good e-bikes from pula bike. Good bikes, strong battery, was really needed and especially good communication with the landlord. The bikes are brought and picked up at the accommodation where we were staying at the time and everything as agreed. Highly recommended this Bojan (owner) Thank you

We read an article in the NYT about a bike trip down the Istrian coast and knew it was a trip we would love to take. We decided to have it be the second week of our honeymoon after hiking hut to hut in the Dolomites for week one. We started in Trieste and rented bikes from Bojan at Pula Bikes. He was AMAZING. Excellent communication, delivered bikes to us in Trieste and stored our large hiking packs until we exchanged bikes back a week later in Pula. He was always available if we had route questions and his gear was very helpful. It was much more seamless than taking the long train trip back up north as suggested in the article. We did not find the paths from town to town to be as clearly marked as we assumed and as the article seems to suggest. There is more biking along with traffic than expected (often on very large hills up or down) which was doable but not anticipated. Ultimately, we found that the app Komoot was extremely helpful and accurate to help us set and direct our routes. Bojan was always available whether we had questions about the bikes, the path or the towns we passed. He was always prompt, kind and helpful. His prices even with delivery and storage of packs were better than competitors also.

My husband and I just came back from a bike trip through Istria trom Trieste, in Italy, to Pula, Croatia. It was absolutely wonderful, not only for the beautiful scenery, the people, the food, but also thanks to the services that we received. I first contacted a travel agency apparently specializing in such trips but was unsatisfied with the slowness - and cost - of the process, so I went online and found Pula Bike. We then rented electrically assisted bicycles that were of good quality and in ship shape. From the get go, the contact with Bojan was easy, open and clear. He delivered the bikes to us in Trieste, our point of departure, at the exact time that we had agreed on. Then at the end of our trip, he came to pick them up at our hostel in Pula. All along the trip he was available in case we needed any information or service. I found out that he also provides luggage transport services, but I didn’t know that before, however I have no doubt that they would be excellent. For the luggage, our experience with Predrag, of Quick Transport, was also great. He even went out of his way in Rovinj to make sure that we found the well hidden gem of a hostel that we had booked by waiting for us there in order to guide us - and help to transport the bikers up and down long stairs. He himself contacted our hosts to make the arrangements for every pick up and delivery. For directions, we used BikeMap. I didn’t get to master all its functions in the time we were in Croatia, but i would use it again, even at home in Canada. It always led us to our destination albeit, particularly in the beginning, we weren’t sure it knew what it was going by leading us through vineyards, fields, trails barely defined or visibly used, and at times rocky, mountain bike quality trails, even though I thought that I had clearly set it on ‘e-bike’ and ‘balanced’ itinerary. We learned to trust it and we still enjoyed the rides, even the slightly challenging ones.

We came to Croatia/Slovenia to ride on the historic Parenzana Trail; beginning in Muggia, Italy and ending in Pula, Croatia. Having independently planned several extensive, cross country bike trips, the most difficult part is renting bikes in one location and returning them hundreds of miles away. After emailing many bike rental agencies, I found Pula Bike (and more importantly, Bojan). His prices for both rental, delivery and pickup were better than his competitors and his email responsiveness was what we all hope for but rarely receive. Meeting him in person was delightful. He is welcoming, courteous and accommodating, as well as knowledgeable about Pula. The e-bikes we rented were dependable and provided a comfy ride even over some very chunky gravel. Congrats to Bojan for running, in our opinion, a successful business.
