Dagsturen Puffing Billy Railway och Phillip Penguin Island är en mycket populär turkombination i Victoria, Australien. Först kan besökare uppleva Puffing Billy Railway, ett historiskt ångtåg som erbjuder en fascinerande resa genom Dandenong Ranges. Tågresor ger inte bara en unik nostalgisk upplevelse, utan låter dig också njuta av den naturliga skönheten och de historiska platserna längs vägen. Därefter kommer besökare att bege sig till Phillip Island, känd för sin Penguin Parade. Varje kväll återvänder de små blå pingvinerna från havet till sina bon på ön. Vi kommer att avgå från staden runt 09:00 för att bege oss till ångtåget Puffing Billy. Tågresan tar cirka 1 timme och 15 minuter.
Resenärer kommer att ge sig ut på Puffing Billy ångtågsresa (enkel resa) i 60 minuter och har en 30 minuters paus innan tåget avgår.
Efter Puffing Billy ångtåget fortsätter vi vår resa i cirka 1 timme och 30 minuter för att nå Maru Wildlife Park.
Vi kommer att ta cirka 30 minuter till chokladfabriken (beroende tågschema slumpmässigt besök)
Efter Maru Park tar vi cirka 30 minuter att nå Nobbies Centre.
Vi tar 30 minuter till Penguin View Park för att hämta biljetter, och du kan ha cirka 45 minuter för middag. Penguin Island Natural Ecological Reserve är för närvarande den största skyddsbasen för vilda pingviner i världen.
Vi tar cirka 2 timmar tillbaka till Melbourne

An unforgettable experience with an equally hospitable tour guide. Safe driving even in the craziest of rain showers! Visited several iconic locations in Victoria, making for a very memorable anniversary. Looking forward to the next year.
Our driver and leader Michael very professional and friendly, the day encountered steam small train bad without opening, he was also very helpful to help us take the day's journey, added a couple points, very careful explanation, very friendly attitude, although meeting the small train not opened, everyone very disappointed, but because of Michael's attitude, we are still in disappointment, have a very happy time.
We were incredibly fortunate to have David Chen as our guide. He was professional, patient, and trustworthy. His time management was excellent, and his explanations were clear and detailed. At every stop on the itinerary, he carefully explained all the important details and precautions, ensuring that everyone knew what to expect and how to stay safe. He also shared insightful information about the local culture, answered every question thoroughly, and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The vehicle was new, clean, and comfortable, adding to the overall comfort of the trip. (The day before, I called David to confirm the pick-up location, and he promptly returned my call, which gave me great peace of mind.) I highly recommend David Chen as your guide if you’re planning to join this tour!
We had an amazing time on this tour! Our guide, David Chen, was super friendly and really knew his stuff, making the whole trip to Puffing Billy and Philip Island so enjoyable. The steam train ride was such a fun experience, and seeing the penguins at Philip Island was absolutely unforgettable. Everything was really well-organized, and David went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had the best spots to enjoy the views. I’d totally recommend this tour—definitely a 5-star experience!
A 10/10 wonderful tour! We had a great experience on everything listed on the itinerary and as scheduled. Bob is the best - he is very experienced and easygoing, always had a smile on his face throughout the trip, and went extra miles just to ensure we had the greatest possible experience. My parents have walking problems due to old age and Bob had been very considerate to accomodate their needs. I can’t recommend him enough. Overall tour was good, the train was exciting and the penguins were cute. Important point is that the tour guide only said Chienese for whole day even I chose English. The guide cannot say English well, so he made other customers to translate what he said - which was not correct though - and only informed me when to come back. I cannot understand any explanation that day and was disappointed. I lost the group few times since I wasn't informed properly about the plan. After the tour, I requested the partial refund for language issue but the tour guide answered that he used English, but due to my lack of English proficiency, I didn't understand what he's saying. WHAT? It's an insult to the customer, feeling very bad. Contacting several times via phone call(cuz I can speak English fluently), I finally got partial refund. Anyway, I recommend not to choose this tour if you cannot speak Chinese. I don't know why there's option for choosing English.

However, once you received our money, what are you trying to prove with this matter? The Puffing Billy Trip was beautiful and the views were exhilarating ! The drive through Emerald and sights around the Lake were breathtaking and so refreshing ! So also the stop at Maru National Wildlife Park, the drive to the Nobbies & walk around, and the Penguin Parade - all showed us a side of Melbourne that we would never have imagined. An action- packed day out on the whole, well worth the cost of the Tour !! Our Tour Guide - Michael, was very informative, knowledgeable, entertaining and patient - making the trip twice as more enjoyable and memorable !!
