Om du någonsin velat göra din egen choklad eller lära dig alla underbara invecklade och processer som ingår i att göra världens favoritgodis, är detta klassen för dig! På 2 timmar kommer du att resa i tiden: från trädets historia, till myterna, till den mycket verkliga och viktiga roll kakao och choklad spelade i Mesoaméricas kulturer. Och självklart kommer du också att göra choklad. Från att prova råfrukten (när den finns tillgänglig), till att rosta, mala och separera skalet från spetsarna kommer du att arbeta precis som ett proffs som gör Utmärkelse vinnande choklad. Du lär dig några av de fantastiska medicinska användningsområdena för choklad innan du gör din egen choklad "medicin" att ta med hem. Slutligen kommer du att temperera nyhälld smält choklad och du kommer att göra din egen bar att slå in och njuta av senare. Det finns chokladresor över hela världen, men detta är en riktig hands on upplevelse - du kommer att få choklad på dig! En rolig och läcker klass!

Owner/teacher has incredible knowledge of the cacao history in Puerto Viejo. The class was hands on bringing us through the cacao pod process to making our own chocolate bars. I highly recommend this class! Such fun!

We had a great experience! It started a little slow as she had locked keys inside, and we had to wait for someone to bring keys, but we learned a lot and had a good time. Ansel (sp?) is very knowledgable! And we got to make our own chocolate! Thank you, Ansel!
