Redo att koka upp (och äta) en fest av smaker? Denna matlagningskurs äger rum och avslutas i hemmet av en mästerkock introducerar dig till köket i kulturellt rika Puerto Vallarta. Handla råvaror på den lokala marknaden, besök en tortillafabrik och upptäck intressanta fakta om Mexikos kulinariska arv. Daglig meny : Måndag: Tacofest, Street style Pork Tacos, Tortillas, Salsas och Guacamole. Tisdag: Chokladmullvad, mexikanskt ris och Poblano gräddsoppa, allt från grunden (mormors recept) Onsdag : Sea Food and Fish day, Ceviche, Mexican Style Shrimp, Octopus or Fish Bbq, Tortillas och Guacamole. Torsdag: Tamales och Chiles Rellenos, Salsas, Guacamole och Tortillas Fredag : Det Bästa av Jalisco, Birria i Adobosås, Sopes med Guacamole, Salsas och Hemlagade Tortillas. Dagligen: Margarita cocktaillektion Vi kan anpassa och tillgodose vår meny till veganer, vegetarianer, glutenfri, mejerifri, etc. Perfekt för kryssningsfartyg passagerare. Möt kocken Enrique och gör dig redo för en fullständig fördjupning i kulturen och naturligtvis smaken bakom det mexikanska köket.
Besök sedan en lokal tortillafabrik för att köpa degen som du ska använda för att kavla ut färska tortillas.
Beväpnad med färska ingredienser, gå över till mästerkockens hus för att börja din klass. Huvudrätterna byts dagligen (se Resplan nedan), men förvänta dig att lära dig hur man gör salsa de molcajete (gjord i en mortel med färsk eller torkad chili) och dessert. Prova sedan på allt från chiles rellenos och tamales till tacos och fiskceviche. Kanske laga mole poblano och lära dig om de mer än 27 ingredienserna, förutom choklad, som utgör denna läckra sås. Toppa det med en Margarita eller en god tequila! Det bästa med den här klassen är att du får äta det du lagar. Slå dig ner och njut av en välförtjänt fest och ett gott samtal med kocken. We had an amazing time learning and cooking! I loved how intimate it was, and the food was so tasty. We made many different salsas, soup appetizer and Birria tacos. Would definitely recommend this cooking class to others. 10/10 experience.

My friend and I did the Market/Cookin Vallarta tour with Chef Enrique and it was fabulous! I didn't want to go on a cooking tour, but went to be a good host to my guest who really wanted to go....I am SO glad I did! This is not to be missed. We shopped at the market and learned about lots of ingredients (including tips on buying the freshest fish, the hottest chiles, etc.), and then went to Chef's home to cook. There were 8 of us, which was the perfect size. We made 6 salsas, birria with adobo sauce, squash blossom flower soup and homemade corn tortillas. The tortilla-making lesson was absolutely incredible, taught by Chef Enrique's wife. Take this tour! You won't be disappointed! I'm going to do it again next time in Vallarta.

From shopping to cooking it was an all around blast! Enrique and his family made us feel right at home, it was a hands on experience. The salsas, guac, tortillas and meat were all delicious. It was a small world that he knew Easy from our Cabo cooking class. If you are looking for a fun, laid back and immersive activity to do in Puerto Vallarta, this class is a must do!

We had a wonderful experience with Enrique! Our group was very engaged and a pleasure to be around.
