TREVLIG & UNDERHÖJLIG VANDRING FÖR ATT UTFORSKA DEN CHARMANDE GRADEN I BORDEAUX MED VÅR INHUS SOMMELIER MED VIN- OCH OSTSMAKNING. Denna turné är designad av vår interna Sommelier & Wine Expert. Han tar dig med på en promenad genom UNESCO:s vinhandlargator, av vilka många är 300 år gamla. Vi kommer att gå i nästan en timme för att upptäcka grannskapet Chartrons och floden Bordeaux medan vi lär oss om de olika druvsorterna som används i Bordeaux, de viktiga vinregionerna, hur man hämtar en flaska i en stormarknad eller på en restaurang, vad är klassificeringen från 1855, hur man läser en etikett som en professionell, distriktets historiska monument och mycket mer! I slutet av turen kommer vi att lägga all teoretisk kunskap i praktiskt "lära genom att smaka"... Skål!! Vi börjar vår turné i hjärtat av Chartrons även känd som Old Wine Merchant Street. Beläget på "Port de la lune" (det franska namnet för Port of Moon) också ett husdjursnamn på Bordeaux med anor från 1600-talet. Idag är de alla världsarv på Unesco.
Njut av den vackra utsikten över floden Garonne, medan du lär dig om dess port- och vinhandel.
När du står vid floden ser du på avstånd en av de äldsta broarna i Bordeaux "Pont de Pierre", den byggdes för Napoleon Bonaparte, med anor från tidigt 1800-tal. Vi kommer att lära oss kopplingen mellan vin och kungar. Observera att monumentet inte kommer att besökas från nära håll.
Ser vi mot norr om Bordeaux kan vi på avstånd upptäcka en annan viktig bro. Du kommer att bli förvånad över att veta vilken fantastisk teknik som används bakom för att skapa denna fantastiska bro. Här kommer vi också att lära oss om ny teknik som används för att göra viner. Observera att monumentet inte kommer att besökas från nära håll.
En av de mest ikoniska kyrkorna i Bordeaux. Du kommer att se skönheten i kyrkan och lära dig historien bakom den.
Vi kommer också att kunna se världens största vinutställningsmuseum uppför floden i norr. Här kommer du att lära dig om vinregionerna och druvsorterna samtidigt som du beundrar 2000-talsmuseets skönhet på avstånd. Observera att monumentet inte kommer att besökas från nära håll.
Vi kommer att se ett "Maisons Jumelles" tvillinghus på engelska. En gång bodde hos en utländsk vinhandlare. Vikten av utlänningar i Bordeaux vinhandel.
Var beredd på en blind vinprovning, det här är dags att öppna upp dina sinnen och börja snusa och smutta på de läckra vinerna från Bordeaux tillsammans med olika ostar och baguette. Din guide kommer att förklara och guida dig genom denna upplevelse i en lokal vinbar.

We were lucky enough to be the only participants with our three group and therefore get an exclusive tour. The small tour of the neighborhood was very informative. Our guide Adrian was very nice and open-minded. Since the weather was quite rainy, the tour was quite close and we are quickly to the wine bar. There Adrian told us a lot about the Bordeaux wines and there were 4 wines (2x red, 2x white) tasted. For us it was just in the right detail and we enjoyed the tour.

I love Viator as you get to meet such lovely and knowledgeable experts like Adrian. We spent a good half hour touring the old part of Bordeaux and then around an hour tasting wine, while Adrian explain the finer points of the region, the grapes, how to match wine with food. Thoroughly recommend the tour, lovely guide, took the time to answer our questions fully and point out places we should visit. 👍🏻🍷
Enjoyed our walking tour with Pascale and discovered some lovely streets/areas we might not otherwise have visited. The wine & cheese tasting was delicious - so much so that we went back the next night for dinner! Would recommend this for a casual, fun and informative way to spend a few hours exploring beautiful Bordeaux

Ani was our fun guide. He is very knowledgeable on the history of Bordeaux, and as a sommelier, he took us on a wonderful walk while explaining the wine regions, the grapes grown in this region, and much more. We ended with a wine and cheese tasting, putting into practice our new found knowledge. Ani has a fantastic sense of humour and a wicked smile! We took a day trip from Paris to Bordeaux for the Wine and Cheese Tasting walking tour, and we were so glad we did! We met Ani several minutes early at the designated meeting point and went from there. Ani is very knowledgeable on the history of Bordeaux, mixing tales of the past with the history and science of wine, doing it all with a fantastic sense of humor! He has developed some great learning aides to teach but in a very accessible manner. We highly recommend this tour if you find yourself in the region. Thank you Ani!
