Grand Palace byggdes tillsammans med grundandet av Bangkok 1782 när kung Rama 1 besteg tronen och grundade en ny dynasti. Grand Palace är mycket viktigt eftersom det förr var statens palladium. Det användes för både det kungliga residenset och landets administrativa centrum i regeringssystemet av absolut monarki. Idag används slottet bara för ceremonier. Den arkitektoniska planen för detta palats var nästan identisk i varje detalj med det stora palatset i den tidigare huvudstaden Ayutthaya (cirka 600 år sedan) eftersom kungen ville återskapa stadens ära som den var förr. Så det byggdes helt först i traditionell thailändsk stil. Men under olika perioder påverkar influenserna från andra nationer arkitekturen i Thailand under olika regeringstider som de Kinesiska elementen som introducerades av kung Rama 3 i början av 1800-talet och den västerländska byggnadsstilen som introducerades av kung Rama 5 i slutet av 1800-talet.
Smaragd Buddha-bilden, den viktigaste Buddha-bilden i Thailand är inskriven i templets vigningssal. Smaragdbuddhabilden är inte gjuten från Smaragd utan gjuten från grön jade av hög kvalitet. Vi hittade Buddhabilden 1432. Du kommer till Thailand, du borde gå och be för din tur.
Det finns inga tydliga bevis när Vilande Buddha-templet eller Wat Pho-templet byggdes för första gången men vi tror att templet har funnits där i över 300 år före grundandet av både huvudstaden Thonburi och Bangkok. Där kommer du att se den vackraste Vilande Buddha bilden i Thailand med 46 meter lång och 15 meter hög.
Wat Arun-templet eller Gryningstemplet är Bangkoks landmärke. Där ser du det högsta Prangtornet i Bangkok med en höjd på 67 meter.

Excellent way to see the major sights of Bangkok. There's a lot to see and a lot to learn. Our guide was organised, he made the structure of the day clear, and took great photos of us all. He also suggested an extra activity (long tail boats) that worked brilliantly.
Belle and Tee were amazing on our tour. Such beautiful temples and great memories made with the good company of Belle and Tee. Thank you So Much for the great enjoyment you have filled my trip with!
Our guide, Belle, and driver, Tu, were amazing!!! They worked really well as a team efficiently getting us from place to place with little to no friction. Belle literally had friends everywhere, especially in all of the strategic places that allowed us to get some special treatment and got us to the attractions more easily! She knew the fastest way to walk from place to place. She also knew EXACTLY where to stand and where the best pictures would be! As Belle said, she’s a photographer first and tour guide second. She was also very knowledgeable about the history and importance of each of the items/places we were seeing/visiting. Tu was usually waiting for us when we got done with an attraction, ready to move on to the next. He even had cold water and cold, disposable wet towels for us after each stop to help cool us down from the Bangkok heat!!! There is really no better way to see the Grand Palace, Temple of the Reclining Buddha and Temple of Dawn!

We had a good day with Lake. She was friendly, patient, and helped us understand a bit more about Thai culture. The temples were stunning, especially the colorful details at the Grand Palace and Wat Arun. The service was good and everything was arranged well.
Bow made the day feel easy and comfortable. She helped us with tickets, where to walk, and where to stand for photos. The palace area had a lot of detail, and the big Buddha was much larger than I expected. The last temple had a nice view and a different style. It was a good Bangkok experience.
I have seen a few temples in Thailand already, but this tour still felt worth it. Vee explained the difference between the palace area, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun, so it did not feel like seeing the same thing three times. The Grand Palace felt more formal and royal, Wat Pho felt more peaceful, and Wat Arun had its own style near the river. It was a solid day and not difficult to enjoy.
We visited on a cloudy day, but it actually made the pictures turn out really nice. The Grand Palace had a strong royal feeling, with big buildings, painted walls, and Thai-style roofs everywhere. Poppy knew a few corners where the background looked less crowded, so we got better photos than expected. Wat Pho was also worth seeing, especially the Reclining Buddha. Wat Arun felt different again, more open and great for taking pictures by the river.
I had seen pictures of the Grand Palace before, but being there felt very different. The colors and gold details were much brighter in person. Donut helped explain the main history and also told us where we could take good photos. Wat Pho was my favorite because the Reclining Buddha was really impressive. Wat Arun was beautiful too, especially from close up.
I came with my parents, and this tour worked well for us. Bow was patient and helped explain the places in easy English. My mother loved the Grand Palace, and my father liked Wat Arun because it looked different from the other temples. There was some walking, but it was manageable.
