Titicaca är världens högsta sjöfartssjö, belägen på 3856 meter över havet. Dess stränder och små öar är hemma för Aymara och Quechua som kommer från forntida kulturer som bodde i detta område långt innan inkarna dominerar. Här kan besökare utforska traditionella byar där spanska är andra språk och där gamla myter och övertygelser fortsätter även idag. En av särdragen i Titicakasjön är de små flytande öarna bebodda av en stam som heter Uros. På dessa små öar är besökare välkomna och kan även åka i en av de berömda rädda båtarna.

Vi hämtar dig med ett privat fordon från ditt hotell i La Paz. Du körs med en professionell guide till Copacabana och njuter av naturlandskap.

Anländer till Copacabana söt by för ett litet lokalt mellanmål. Vi turnerar och besöker helgedomen och Virgen Morena. Du får chansen att träffa små regionala hantverkare och lära dig lite lokal kultur.

Sedan tar vi oss till Isla del Sol på en privat båt med en lokal guide. Vi kommer att gå igenom "Inca Grand Staircase" och också se den heliga fontänen, vars grundvatten, det sägs, skulle ge ungdom och evig lycka! Efter detta äter vi lunch på den lokala arkeologiska restaurangen och besöker sedan den lilla hantverksmarknaden och förfädernas platser för att lära oss om de tullar som fortfarande finns kvar från förfäderna.
När vi kommer tillbaka kan du njuta av sjön och måla naturens färger vid solnedgången. Landresa till ditt hotell i La Paz.

Fantastic private tour! Our guide Nathaniel was incredibly professional and very attentive, as was the driver, Diego, who with his skill behind the wheel had a trip of 10. We had the opportunity to visit the totora museum and acquire high quality craft products. The Copacabana tour is very beautiful and the Isla del Sol is spectacular. To eat we were offered typical regional food that was delicious! The flexibility of the tour allows you to adapt your needs and preferences to visit the places and feel comfortable during the tour. We will certainly repeat with the agency when we return to Bolivia:)
We went with Daniel (guide) and Johnny (driver). They both were very hospitable. The lake is beautiful. We were given indigenous lunch by the lake which was delish! The only drawback is it is a long drive from La Paz (4 hours each way).
If you are a short on time or don't want to make complicated bus and bike plans, this is a good option. This company would get 5 stars if they would buy there own bus. A driver picks you up and you wait at the regular old bus station for about an hour (there are breakfast restaurants in the terminal). Our group was about 1/3 of the bus and the biggest issue was that for 4 long hours going out, I was sitting in a tight seat next to a Bolivian mother with a FOUR year old in her lap! I had no idea which 1/3 of the bus was on my tour. If they don't buy their own bus, it would be nice to have the tour seats all together. The tour and guide were great. You get to see most of what you want to see, albeit very quickly. You get back to the bus station around 10PM in La Paz. Once I knew who was part of the tour, it was easy to strike up conversations.
