Cotswolds är ett "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" (AONB) känt för sin fantastiska landsbygd, historiska slott, storslagna herrgårdar, livliga marknadsstäder och pittoreska byar med honungsfärgade stenstugor. Genom att boka denna turné kommer du att slippa krångel och tidsbegränsningar med att följa med en större grupp, få lokala insikter och kunna fördjupa dig helt i upplevelsen. Under denna turné kommer du: Körs i ett lyxfordon med förfriskningar. Besök typiska engelska landsbygdsplatser. Lär dig historien om de platser vi besöker. Ha lite ledig tid att utforska eller koppla av. Stanna för fotografier på olika platser längs vägen. Ät och drick på en Cotswold-pub eller restaurang (Valfritt - ingår inte i turnépriset).

Vårt första stopp är Bibury, ”Världens vackraste by”. Här kommer vi att besöka de ikoniska, världsberömda vävarstugorna i Arlington Row, gå runt i träsket och leta efter lokala djur och handla souvenirer. Vi kommer också att ha kul när vi försöker se några av de otroliga, ljusblå öringarna på Bibury Trout Farm.
Vårt andra stopp är Bourton on the Water, även känd som "Venedig Cotswolds" tack vare stenbroarna som korsar floden Windrush när den flyter genom centrum av byn. Här kommer du att ha tid att bläddra i butikerna inbäddat bland de pittoreska gatorna på båda sidor av floden och njuta av en välsmakande lunch i ett historiskt Cotswold värdshus. Lower Slaughter är känd som ”The Most Idyllic Village in the Cotswolds” och vid ankomsten kommer du omedelbart att förstå varför. En vacker herrgård med utsikt över byn och Gamla Kvarnen har fortfarande sitt vattenhjul snurrande i Ögat. Denna plats är en dold pärla och plats som verkligen känns som ett steg tillbaka i tiden.
Besök den berömda Tolkien Door, förundras över det enorma glasmålningsfönstret West Window i St Edwards Church och lär dig om det blodiga slutslaget under det Engelska inbördeskriget, som hände i denna nu idylliska Cotswold-stad. Gästerna kommer också att njuta av lite fritid att utforska här. Shopping? Ja! Afternoon tea? Varför inte!
Om tid och trafik tillåter avslutar vi dagen vid Broadway Tower, en fascinerande och historisk dårskap designad av Capability Brown och James Wyatt. Njut av att lära dig om historien om denna ikoniska struktur medan du tar in otroliga vyer. Älskar djur? Har vi tur kommer vi nära kronhjorten som kallar denna vackra plats hem.

Nathan was an incredible host and tour guide! We did two days with Nathan and by the end he felt like much more than our personal guide and concierge! His incredible knowledge of all history old and new was astounding. He was extremely friendly and engaging and made it a great experience for us and our children. His love for all things Cotswolds and connection to the community was apparent as soon as we arrived at our first stop, we ran into a local right out of the car who greeted him by name and shared a friendly hello (Hi Tony!). The tours were well paced and never felt sluggish or rushed, or like we saw too much or too little. Our second day he went out of his way to acquire a larger vehicle to help us with luggage when we needed to change hotels with very short notice. The insights and local experience he provided could not be found anywhere else. We highly recommend Nathan!
We had a spectacular time in the Cotswolds with Cotswold Tours and Travel. Jen was very prompt and knowledgeable. She quickly adjusted our itinerary to meet our needs, interests and the weather. It was very sunny and warm. We had many delightful and unique Cotswold experiences that a casual visitor would likely miss. The stop off for a pint at a secluded pub was especially appreciated on a warm day. I highly recommend them for your tour of Cotswold by ways.

What an incredible excursion!!! Nathan was hands down the best thing about this tour! From our very first contact when we booked, to picking us up and dropping off as well as everything in between! he is so super knowledgeable about all of the history of the Cotswolds and was an absolute delight! 100/10 experience that we would do again with no hesitation! we are thrilled with how awesome this was :)
We all enjoyed our full day tour of the Cotswolds. Our guide, Nathan, was a fantastic guide. We appreciated his warmth, knowledge as a local of the history of the area and geological background, and his sharing of anecdotes from growing up in the Cotswolds as we visited the towns. This tour was one of the best of our visit to England.
Absolutely wonderful tour with Nate! He was charming, kind, professional, and full of knowledge about the towns we saw and British history in general. I was with my mom and two of her friends, and Nate kept us all engaged while allowing us time to explore, do a bit of shopping, and enjoy some food. He kept us laughing with his stories of growing up in the area, and took lots of pictures for us to remember the day as well. It was absolutely exceptional from start to finish - if you want to see the Cotswolds this tour is the one to do!
It is an all day experience that involves a lot of driving from place to place. Scenery is gorgeous and enjoyable. Nathan , our guide was an absolute gem; lots of information and love of this area.
Nate was such an incredible tour guide! He made our trip to the Cotswolds so incredibly special! He is so unbelievably knowledgeable and professional. This tour with Nathan Greene was one of the best tours I’ve ever had on a vacation. Nathan was an incredible tour guide! We had some issues with the train from London, and he was patient and very accommodating throughout. The tour was truly a highlight of our trip to the UK.
