I couldn’t recommend this tour enough! We had the most amazing tour guide Catherine, who spoke about each dish we tried, the restaurants where we ate and answered any questions we had. She made sure that our dietary requirements were met at each restaurant. She was extremely knowledgeable, super friendly and helpful. We tried 6+ dishes, all of which were delicious and gave us a great insight into the local food. Would highly recommend!

The tour was amazing, we tried a wide variety of different foods giving us a better insight to Vietnamese cuisine all thanks to our tour guide Catherine. She explained every dish to us with detail and also answered any questions we had.

Our guide, Catherine, cultivated the most incredible culinary experience for us during our first visit to Ho Chi Minh City. Catherine’s knowledge of the Vietnamese cuisine and culture, and her enthusiasm in sharing that with us, made this tour so special. We especially appreciated how our needs were catered for, for example vegetarian options at each stop. Catherine ensured we were safe and comfortable in moving through the city, and a real highlight of the tour was being able to see parts of HCMH that we never otherwise would have. My friend and I spent 3+ hours with our local guide Minzy. It was great - not only experiencing some of the local food (all very tasty) but also getting to walk through local neighbourhood and understand the Vietnamese culture better. Highly recommend.

An incredible tour around some parts of the city where I don’t think most tourists would find by themselves, trying food that was new to us and extremely tasty. Lucy, our guide, was friendly and knowledgable, explaining all the foods as we went through the 3 hour walking tour and more than helpful with suggestions and recommendations for our time here in Ho Chi Minh. A very friendly, relaxed guide through a vibrant part of the city with a broad range of local foods, with a great value for money and easy planning with hotel pick-up / drop-off included.

An outstanding food walking tour of Ho Chi Minh City — six stops that gave us a real, immersive introduction to Vietnamese food and culture. We started with bánh xèo and bánh khọt, crispy pancakes piled with a huge variety of fresh herbs, then moved on to bò lá lốt, beef wrapped in piper lolot leaf and rolled with rice paper — a dish so good it’s earned three Michelin Bib Gourmand mentions. From there, bột chiên (pan-fried rice cake) with sugar cane juice, a classic Saigon bánh mỳ loaded with pork roll and pâté, and grilled seafood with homemade dipping sauces at a lively street pub. We finished at the Ho Thi Ky flower and street food market with a wonderfully refreshing coconut ice cream and avocado smoothie. Every dish was excellent, and importantly, we ate where locals eat rather than in tourist-oriented restaurants — places we’d never have found or ventured into on our own. Our guide, Thuy, made the tour. She was warm, sharp, and very funny, weaving in Vietnamese history, cultural context, and even quick language lessons between courses. Her assistant, Jimmy, worked ahead of us at each stop to make sure tables and food were ready, so nothing felt rushed. This is a brilliant, immersive introduction to Vietnamese food and culture. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Saigon.
