Nästa upp är Lotus-templet (stängt på måndagar), det sista av sju stora Bahai-tempel, och byggdes 1986 av ren vit marmor. Ahamed was amazing! He knew the best vantage points to take photos, the most efficient way to access and navigate Old Delhi and New Delhi's major sites. He even helped me with mundane things like finding an ATM. The depth and breadth of knowledge he has to share is mine boggling and inspiring. I now want to find books to learn more about the history of Shah Jahan and Qutb Minar and the Delhi Sultanate. This was a safe and far deeper introduction to this amazing place than I otherwise could have experienced on my own.
