Turen avgår från ett hotell eller tågstation i Hiroshima City; turordningen kan ändras mellan Miyajima och Peace Park för att se den flytande Torii Gate. Vi använder kollektivtrafik. Restiden till Miyajima är 1 timme.
Besök en andlig ö "MIYAJIMA" som har vördats som gudarnas ö sedan antiken. Hjort, gudarnas budbärare, välkomna er!
Den flytande Torii-porten visas på havet när tidvattnet är högt. Vid lågvatten kan du gå förbi den och imponeras av dess storlek och skönhet!
Itsukushima Shrine flyter på havet och är registrerad som ett UNESCO-världsarv. Denna helgedom, också en nationalskatt, ändrar sitt utseende med tidvattnets ebb och flöde. Besökare kan njuta av skönheten i den majestätiska japanska arkitekturen från Heian-perioden. Om du har tur, kommer du att bevittna en bröllopsceremoni eller en dans tillägnad gudarna!
Daisho-in Temple är ett unikt och sällsynt tempel. Det äldsta templet på Miyajima, det ligger mitt i rik natur och har många attraktioner. Detta tempel älskades av Shogun Hideyoshi och många andra inflytelserika personer, och är ett måste!
Del av Itsukusima helgedom, UNESCO:s världsarv, byggd på 1500-talet. Stora hallar och vägglösa utrymmen är tysta och fridfulla. Shogun Hideyoshi order att bygga.
Strosa Omotesando shoppinggata. Fodrad med matbutiker och souvenirbutiker som säljer Miyajimas specialprodukter som ostron, conger ålris skål och momiji manju (ångade bullar). Momiji-manju handbakningsverkstäder finns också.
Vi ska gå mot Peace Memorial Park. I grund och botten använder vi en färja, JR, eller tåg. Det tar ca 1 timme. Som ett alternativ kan du också ta en direkt båt (45 minuter) till Peace Memorial Park. Vänligen kontrollera din e-post efter bokning för detaljer.

Yuka made this trip seamless for us. Her knowledge was great, she catered to our interests and pace with our three children (aged 5-13). She was warm, friendly and clearly loves her job. She knew the ways to avoid the over crowding , maximise routes to see more whisky walking less, and all the hidden little jewels. We all loved our day with her. Highly Recommended guide whether solo, couple or family.

We spent a second day with Yuka touring Miyajima island. This was a highlight of our 2 week trip to Japan. Yuka knew the exact order to see the main highlights and avoid the crowds. She took us to a great restaurant specializing in oysters which are grown in the waters nearby. Overall it was a lovely day.

Yuka was our guide today. She greeted us at our hotel (she was there early) we requested to walk to the train station vs taking a taxi. She got us through both the train and ferry station which ease. She knew where to sit on the ferry to get the best view, she is very knowledgeable of the entire island and shared her pictures with us. She selected a great restaurant for lunch and offered us the cable car ride back instead of the train for a different experience. Yuka speaks very good English, we had a great day on this island tour.

Masa was an outstanding guide. Because he grew up in Hiroshima, he had intimate knowledge which he shared with us. He took us on the normal tours but also on side streets and off the beaten path. Excellent English and ability to share and explain. Fully informative. A real pleasure.

What an amazing day! Aya was the perfect guide, patiently guiding us through (a rainy) Hiroshima and then a high-speed boat trip to Miyajima Island (which has to be anyone’s highlight on a trip to Hiroshima).
