Vår resa börjar vid Koutoubia-moskén, Marrakechs mest ikoniska landmärke. Från utsidan kommer du att beundra dess magnifika minaret från 1100-talet och lära dig om dess fascinerande historia och arkitektoniska betydelse. Observera att inträdet till moskén är reserverat för muslimer, så besöket är endast från utsidan.
Mellahkvarteret är en liten grupp av gator som ligger ett stenkast från medinan, bredvid det monumentala Bahiapalatset. Idag är det bebott av hundratals judar, men mellan 1500- och 1900-talen var det hem för en av de största judiska samhällena i landet, huvudsakligen bestående av judar som hade fördrivits från den iberiska halvön och andra europeiska territorier.
Vi kommer att utforska Bahiapalatset, ett mästerverk i marockansk arkitektur känd för sina eleganta innergårdar, färgglada mosaiker och vackra trädgårdar. Längs vägen får du lära dig om dess historia och kungliga förflutna

I travelled to Marrakesh with Flavours holidays from UK. On one of our days they introduced us to a wonderful guide Mohamed. He showed 9 of us around his wonderful city. I had such an interesting day that I asked him to show me more of the city on a few solo days I had at the end of my trip. His knowledge is outstanding, he brings colour to everything in an interesting and relaxed way. I spent several hours with Mohammed and felt so relaxed and heard. He made me feel like two friends sharing a day together. As a single traveller that was so reassuring. A smile was never far away and Mohammed’s kindness was always there. I learnt more from him than I could ever of done on my own. Such a fantastic way to see this beautiful colourful city. I am so grateful and glad to have spent the time with him and would recommend to everyone who is visiting Marrakesh.

Mohamed was a wonderful tourguide, as a solo female traveler it’s nice to have some guidance when you first arrive in a new place. Mohamed easily adjusted his tour to my needs, interests and tempo. I picked a more general tour as an introduction to Marrakech, I could tell he had some great historical knowledge as well as Witt to make my visit light and pleasant. We did walk around a lot, but this is perfect for me as I prefer to discover places on foot. It came in handy for navigating during the rest of my stay. I will definitely hire him as a guide for my future trips to Marakesh and Morocco. Thank you again

We had the best tour with Mohamed! He took us to all the sites and showed us some hidden gems along the way. Mohammed was wonderful! After landing in Morocco travelling solo, Mohammad put me at ease in an overwhelming city. He picked me up from the hotel, provided thorough explanations on everything as we walked through the medina, including history, current situation and answering any and all questions I had, providing a really good insight into life and the past in Morocco.
