If you want to know the political history of Derry, then do not hesitate to take the tour with Mickael, plus it's in French, the cherry on top! Passionate about the history of his city, he will immerse you in it... Being able to hear the real life accounts leading up to and in the aftermath of Bloody Sunday by someone who was there for it all was a deeply moving experience for the entire family. We booked late and were so happy to be able to spend a part of our evening learning more about Londonderry's history.
Very interesting tour round,mainly the bogside,with a very knowledgeable local guide who told us a lot about the political history.A good experience for anyone who wants to know about the Troubles and the subsequent peace process.
We are three pensioners, two of whom are disabled, so it was good we had a private tour and didn't have to slow anyone else down waiting for us. Noel was born and is well known in the area and had first hand experience of some of the troubles, so was able to give an in depth talk. The only issue was the rain but that is beyond control and apart from that, we really enjoyed the experience. Thank you Noel

Mickey was a fount of knowledge but made it real with personal details of events from the Conflicts over, especially, the last 100 years. I was close to tears from the heartbreak. He was also personable and made it thoroughly enjoyable. Well done!

Michael gives a great tour, and he lives and breathes Derry, having grown up and even served in government here. I learned a lot about Derry history and the Troubles while visiting the sites.
