Denna privata rundtur tar dig med till Aia Piccola-distriktet, ett bostadsområde i trulli, där du fortfarande kan andas in atmosfären från svunna tider. Det inkluderar ett stopp vid Belvedere för att beundra det sagolika landskapet och fortsätter till den nya staden, där du besöker Basilica dei Santi Medici för att lära dig om skyddshelgonens kult. Vi kommer att se Trullo Sovrano, en imponerande tvåvånings trullo, som inrymmer ett intressant museum om apuliska traditioner. This was our third walking tour with Valeria in the Apulia region. She is a fantastic guide - we learned a lot about the trullo houses and culture and history of this UNESCO heritage city. The tour ended with an informative olive oil tasting - we were so impressed with the products we had a big order shipped home. Valeria was very kind to adjust the length of the tour to accommodate my slow pace (as I had hurt my left foot earlier in our trip). So once again, we highly recommend this walking tour with Valeria!!

Our guide, Valeria, really knew the history and stories of the village. It would have been difficult to understand Alberobello without a guide. The village is very popular with tourists and therefore crowded, but Valeria navigated around to avoid some of the chaos. The olive oil tasting was a nice stop, as part of our tour, and the young lady at the shop gave us a fun education in the various types of olive oils. Very nice tour.

Our guide in Arberobello (Cosima) was very kind and easy to follow. She shared many fascinating and authentic stories that only locals know. The testing of olive oil and balsamic vinegar in a small shop was both educational and memorable. From now on, we will always remember the true taste of real extra virgin olive oil. The teenargers enjoyed the tour too.
