Amazing experience with a highly knowledgeable expert of the Getty Museum, the history and most importantly the art and garden. The views are incredible and my son was able to experience so much in a single place. Ellen connected with both of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the morning with her showing us around.
Great tour. Ellen was extremely knowledgeable and imparted interesting stories and little known facts. A great and informative 2 hr tour. Thank you Ellen for doing a great job and making our day enjoyable and fun.
Thank you so much! It was my pleasure. See The Villa next time!
This was a wonderful, informative tour. As someone who lives in the area and has visited the Getty previously, I learned a great deal.
Thank you so much! It was a pleasure to give you the tour. Great comments and observations!
Our group included my partner, his elderly dad and my trio of 18-year-old children. Ellen did a fantastic job of engaging all of us in her tour. She really brought the history to life and was so engaging and knowledgeable. We are so glad we did this tour of the Getty Center with her and it inspired us to return many many times. Highly recommend and we plan on doing a Getty Villa tour with her in the future!
Thank you so much for the review! Your family made insightful observations that were spot on and thought-provoking. It was great to meet you and I look forward to seeing you again!
If we could give 10 stars we would! Ellen was a delightful, engaging and informative guide who curated a lovely overview of the Getty for us. She has deep knowledge about the collection, interesting facts and fun stories that you wouldn't get on your own. Highly recommend this tour!
Thank you so much for your review. It was a pleasure touring all of you. The time flew by!
Helen was an incredible tour guide. She was informative and personable. We really appreciated the obvious preparation and effort she took in preparing her tour. We highly recommend booking a tour with Quick Culture!
Thanks so much for the review. Sorry for the delay in my appreciation. Next time, see The Getty Villa!
Tour guide was an amazing art expert with fun and interesting facts about the architecture, founder, master painters, artwork and artists’ techniques. She had a great sense of humor and taught us so much. The time sped by and left us wanting more.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! You made it fun and inspiring for me as well!
Ellen Greenberg gave our family a fantastic tour of the Getty Museum. We're 5 people ranging in age from 29 to 85. My ankle was injured, so I needed a wheelchair. Ellen was patient, kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She obtained the wheelchair for us, and waited for a few of us who arrived late. The Getty's a large museum, so Ellen showed us highlights that we had time to see in our 2 hour tour. She talked about the architecture of the museum, and the process of building it. She showed us art by Rembrandt, Bernini, artists in Leonardo da Vinci's studio, and a couple of dozen others. Ellen was engaging. She encouraged us to ask her questions, and asked us questions to enliven the tour. She came well prepared with a big bag of laminated pictures that she used to illustrate her discussion of the art. Her tour made our visit to the Getty much more enjoyable and informative than it would have been without her.
Wow! Thank you so much for leaving such a detailed and wonderful review. But, as the expression goes, "It takes 2 to tango". And, your group was so enthusiastic and we had such a great exchange of ideas and opinions, I saw the art in many new ways as well!
Alexandra is a very experienced guide, guided through the whole Getty collection, spectacular tour, great energy and so much knowledge about art history !
Dear Arina~ I hope this message finds you well. Thank you for joining us on the recent museum tour. I'm so glad you had an enjoyable and enriching experience. Come back again soon!
We had a great private tour with Ellen. We learned so much from her and we would have been clueless navigating the Getty without her. She brought along pictures to add historical context to the artwork and it was both educational and entertaining. She is a wealth of knowledge.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and thoughts during the tour. I enjoyed hearing your observations about the art and the artists!
