Bach Dinh, eller det vita palatset i Vung Tau City, ligger på 4 Tran Phu Street, på sluttningen av Big Mountain. Stående 50 meter över havet, har White Palace sitt franska namn som är La Villa Blanche.
Den 32 meter höga Jesusstatyn som sitter på toppen av ett litet berg med utsikt över havet (The Nui Nho). Du kan se statyn av Kristus kungen, en av de viktiga symbolerna för Vung Tau, från alla håll i staden. Men det bästa är fortfarande att klättra till toppen av Little Mountain och beundra statyn. Klättra sedan upp i observatoriet i statyn och titta på panoramautsikt över staden och det omgivande havet.
Thich Ca Phat Dai (Shakyamuni Buddhas plattform) är ett anmärkningsvärt buddhistiskt tempel i Theravada i kuststaden Vung Tau i södra Vietnam. Det ligger nordväst om berget Lon och byggdes mellan 1961 och 1963 när det öppnades. Det ligger på en tomt på cirka fem hektar, med ett zenbuddhistiskt kloster vid foten av tomten och Thích Ca Phật Đài på toppen.
Valgraven, som ligger till höger om Thang Tams heliga tempel, byggdes samtidigt som Temple of the Five Eliments i slutet av 1800-talet. Graven visar för närvarande ett enormt skelett av en val som samlades in av de lokala fiskarna för över hundra år sedan.

I had an awesome time on this tour with guide Hillbilly Jack and driver Mr. Anh. I was promptly met at the cruise port and we drove to the beautiful seaside town of Vung Tao. Jack was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Vietnam and I got so much excellent information. He’s also got a great sense of humor which added to the fun. We visited pagodas, temples, a monastery and a fish market. We also had some delicious local food. Mr. Anh is a skilled driver and safely navigated the cars and scooters. If you book this tour you’ll be guaranteed a fun and educational day.

We had excellent service from the moment that we booked our tour as we got the confirmation quickly and acknowledgement of the details that I sent about my mobility issues. I had several WhatsApp messages in the days before our tour to introduce Hillbilly Jack, our tour guide, and to confirm the meeting time and place with photographs of the vehicle and lunch menu. We requested to change one item on the menu and this was done promptly. Jack was waiting at the arranged time and place with the clean and comfortable vehicle. Jack was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all his country has to offer. He was able to accommodate the changes that we requested as the tour progressed as my mobility issues were causing some problems. The included lunch was delicious and the food was plentiful. Overall, we had a great time. Thank you Jack and your driver.

I cant recommend Jack From Indochine - Người Từ Đông Dương enough! Jack knew, and explained the local history and culture very well. He had a fantastic sense of humour and had us laughing all day, as you can see from his fantastic photos. It was a day I will always remember! If you ever need a tour guide in Vietnam look him up. You wont be dissapointed.
