Kiev är över 1500 år gammalt, och det är en av de största och grönaste städerna i Europa! På 6 timmar kommer du att besöka sevärdheter som du måste se i städerna, av vilka några finns med på UNESCO:s lista, och se lokalbefolkningens liv. Du kommer att smaka på det lokala ukrainska köket och drycker, ha tid för kaffebromsar och fotograferingar. Katedralen byggdes i slutet av 1800-talet för att markera 900 år av ortodox kristendom på dessa marker. Brukade vara huvudtemplet för den ukrainska ortodoxa kyrkan i Kievs patriarkat.
Operahuset (i början av 1900-talet) är en vacker byggnad med otroligt vackra finish. Vår guide kommer att berätta om en intressant komisk olycka som hände här.

Vår guide kommer att berätta historien om Maidan Nezalezhnosti eller självständighetstorget som är känt som platsen för viktiga politiska möten inklusive storskaliga protester: Orange Revolution (2004) och Euromaidan (2013-2014).
För närvarande är detta ett motsägelsefullt landmärke för Kiev eftersom det är en symbol för vänskap mellan Ukraina och Ryssland som öppnades 1982.

Sedan kommer vi att klättra uppför trappan till Volodymyrs kulle genom en magnifik ny park med spektakulär utsikt över floden Dnipro. Kommer att stanna nära monumentet till Volodymyr den store.
Sedan tar vi en tur på en bergbana som är mer än 100 år gammal, som förbinder två historiska delar av Kiev - den övre staden och Podil. Det ligger på en sluttning av Vladimir-kullen med en vacker utsikt över floden Dnipro.

Sedan besöker vi The Old Kyiv's Hill där enligt legenden den äldsta brodern till grundarna av Kyiv Kyi började sin regeringstid i det avlägsna 500-talet. Du kommer att se resterna av grunden till tiondekyrkan. Dop av Kyivan Rus började från denna plats. Här byggde prins Vladimir den första största ortodoxa stenkyrkan i Kyivan Rus. Vi kommer också att se The Idol of the Pagan God Perun gjord av trä, det 400 år gamla Linden Tree, den lilla vackra Tithe Church of the Navity of the Blessed Virgin Mary och en fantastiskt vacker utsikt över Lower City Podil.
Vi kommer att ta en promenad längs den populära gatstensgatan Andrew's Descent där lokala konstnärer visar sina konstverk och säljer souvenirer till det äldsta torget i Kiev - Kontraktova. Där passerar vi den äldsta kyrkan i Kiev - Assumption Church of Pirohoscha, monument till hetman Sahaydachny, fontänen Samson, shoppinggallerian, Kyiv Mohyla Academy.

Even in uncertain times, it was really amazing to visit Kyiv. Kyiviset arranged a splendid tour for me with Olga as a guide that was amazing! It was really nice to hear about the rich history of the brave people of ukraine and learn more where the customs and traditions come from. Learned a lot! Also really nice is that a local takes you around town and show you the best spots! Next time when i visit this gorgeous city i will book again! Can't wait 🤗

This wasn't my first time in Kyiv or going on a private tour through the city but I scheduled a tour with KyiVisit for my best friend to discover the city. I booked a day trip for Mezhyhirya Residence. It was really great! Inna picked me up at the hotel by car and on the way there she told me a lot about the history of Ukraine and the city of Kiev. The day itself was great, thanks to her experience as a tour guide, we were even able to visit the house of the residece outside of the official time. It was such an interesting day and it was a lot of fun. Inna is a very friendly and relaxed person who speaks English very well. Since I had such a nice day, I spontaneously booked an "open Kiev in 6 hours" tour for the next day. It was very worth it and I learned a lot about the city of Kiev. I can recommend Inna to anyone visiting Kiev. She is a great tour guide! Thank you very much.

Thanks to Inna, we were able to satisfy our sightseeing hunger! Two whole days packed with our wishes, what we didn't want to see. She did it with flying colors!;) City of Kiev, open-air museum Pirogovo and Yanukovych's abandoned estate were phenomenal! No long waiting times. Everything arranged in advance by phone. We could just relax and take our pictures in peace. Luckily we caught good weather, which was foreseeable. Nonetheless, it was good to be chauffeured through a historic city in an air-conditioned SUV without having to endure the summer heat for long and waiting in line. For our American accompaniment, Innas English was more than satisfactory. All in one, a super pleasant, open, punctual and cheerful person with whom you very much like to explore a city. It is really nice to look at when someone tries very hard and enjoys their own tour at the same time. The restaurants were also very well selected. We really enjoyed our short break. I had already done a good bit of exploring on my own, but I wanted to get a tour from a local. I feel lucky for that local to have been Inna. During our tour, Inna asked me about the places I had been already on my own, and she adjusted the tour on the fly and showed me some cool places I would have missed out on without her. In addition to the neat places you're not going to find on your own, you'll hear interesting stories about the history and culture of Kyiv and Ukraine, and from a perspective of someone genuinely interested—it'll be essential in getting the richest experience from your travel to Kyiv. Inna's great company: it'll be easy-going, and you'll have a lot of fun. At the end of the tour, Inna introduced me to a few quintessential Ukrainian dishes I otherwise would have missed out on.
