Privat heldagstur med vattenfall och kaffe från Moshi

Detta mycket anmärkningsvärda vattenfall är ett av de högsta i området och spyr ut kristallklart glaciärvatten 80 meter ner i bassängen. Den vackra och attraktiva stigen som leder till Materuni vattenfall ligger 2400m över havet. Den korsar genom dalar och kullar täckta av tropisk regnskog, förbi kaffe, banan och avokado "shambas", kiswahili-ordet för gårdar. På en klar dag kan man se fantastisk utsikt över Kibo och staden Moshi. Vandringen till basen av vattenfallet kan vara krävande någon gång och vandringskängor rekommenderas särskilt under våta årstider. Eftersom denna resa är så nära Moshi stad är den idealisk för de människor med begränsad tid men som ändå skulle vilja se lite av naturen och skönheten som denna region i Tanzania har att erbjuda.

Materuni är en av de få underliga byarna i norra Tanzania som sitter vid foten av berget Kilimanjaro. Together with my daughter we did trips and tour to the waterfall with Alpha van Oserok, with lunch at a Chagga tribe and with a coffee ceremony. Alpha picked us up at our hotel and together we walked to the waterfall. Along the way he explained a lot about all the plants, trees and animals that could be seen there. He is a relaxed and extremely experienced guide and we had a great day.

The tour to Materuni with Alfa as our guide was a wonderful experience. We were able to plan everything in advance with him and he was especially flexible with our wishes. We would especially like to highlight that he knows all the important places very well and knew how to explain everything. We also visited a coffee farm where we learned the coffee process, with a fun atmosphere. All in all, a wonderful tour with an extremely pleasant and knowledgeable guide. This tour offered a wonderful chance to see and explore the forests at the base of Kilimanjaro, while also providing an opportunity to learn about the rich cultures of the area. We have booked this tour with OseroKtrips and had the pleasure to meet Alpha who was our guide for this tour. Alpha was so kind and friendly and went above and beyond to make our tour a memorable one. As we were on our honeymoon he even surprised us with a toast that he’s organised for us at the village. It was truly a memorable experience and the trip itself was incredible ! We tasted the delicious coffee made from the villagers own plantations and seeing the process was captivating for coffee lovers like me! We hiked all the way to the waterfalls on the Kilimanjaro slopes and had incredible views of nature. Alpha even took some lovely pictures of us and took great care of
