1985 förklarades Argentinas nationalpark till världsarv, Brasiliens nationalpark följde ett år senare och sedan 2012 har Iguassufallen varit ett av världens sju naturliga underverk, där miljontals besökare förtrollas av denna naturliga skönhet varje år. Mitt i den subtropiska regnskogen har olika vandringsleder och spångar utvecklats i flodens övre lopp, där du steg för steg guidas genom detta naturskådespel. Idag är det inte ovanligt, tack vare bevarandeprogrammet "projeto carnívoro", som syftar till att bevara hotade rovdjur, att antalet jaguarer har ökat avsevärt och de ses ofta i parkerna. Iguassus fauna och flora är hem för över 76 däggdjur som tapiren, det största däggdjuret i Sydamerika, pumor, kapucinapor, över 400 fågelarter som tukaner, papegojor och kolibrier, och tusentals blommande växter som orkidéer och helicônias. .
Under vårt fotostopp besöker vi gränstriangeln mellan Brasilien – Argentina – Paraguay. Det är just vid denna tidpunkt som Rio Iguaçu rinner ut i den enorma Rio Paraná, en av de rikaste i Sydamerika.

It wasn’t very easy to find a tour operator to do a tour for just one person, so I appreciated a lot that this was possible. Pick ups and everything related went very smooth, and I had an amazing time.
We did 2 half day tours to both sides of the falls with airport and hotel transfers. The transfers and border crossing were orchestrated seamlessly by Rodrigo. Andre was amazing as a tour guide he was so accommodating and made sure we had the best experience and navigated the parks expertly so we experienced as much as possible within our timescale including the Bird Park which is definitely worth a visit. The falls on both sides were breathtaking and Andre made sure we had the best experience. He took care of tickets and navigation and made the whole experience effortless. From our amazing experience I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend booking with them.
The tour was fantastic, both guides were excellent, friendly and informative. We crammed a lot into the day, but was one of our highlights of our South American trip.
My wife & are from Atlanta USA and I took this tour on May 26 & May 27 and had an amazing experience. Our tour guide Rodrigo Ojeda Engel took us to the Brazil side of the falls on the first day and we enjoyed the trail and breath taking views of the falls. Upon our request, he took us to the bird park also and we really liked the variety of birds there. He was also kind enough to take us to the mall where we had to return an item before we headed out to Argentina. As language was an issue, he spoke to the store manager in local language and explained our situation and helped us get a refund. The second day, we had Oscar as our tour guide who took us to the Argentina side of the falls. We enjoyed the trail walks and Devil’s throat views and also enjoyed the boat ride. Oscar explained us so well and we had a great time. He also took us to the meeting point of the 3 countries. Thanks to Viator, Rodrigo & Oscar, we thoroughly enjoyed the falls experience and the tour. Highly recommend this tour.
We chose the two day option which was perfect for seeing both sides of the falls, doing the boat ride under the falls and the bird park. Our guide Philippe was great!!! He spoke excellent English and was incredibly knowledgeable about everything we did and saw! The pace we moved was perfect and probably would have taken us four days had we tried to do it on our own. This was by far one of the top five sightseeing experiences of our lives! Thank you Philippe!
Our guide Rodrigo was fantastic even arranging a new driver to speed up the difficult border crossing. The fall were truly amazing with the views from the Brazilian side truly stunning.

Amazing tour with Rodrigo! We Wanted to do a two day tour, and you get tourist queue for the Argentinian/Brazilian border. We even wanted to see Paraguay and have dinner there and worked with a tour guide named William he was great too. Would highly recommend

I couldn’t ask for a better experience in Foz de Iguacu. Rodrigo made sure we were picked up from the airport, had a full day on the Brazilian side, and another on the Argentinian side and when we asked for a few hours in Paraguay, Rodrigo organized it on the spot. He speaks fluent English, and has so much knowledge that we could have spent a week with him, but above all he is very attentive, kind and trustworthy.
