Klockan 5 eller 6 kommer din chaufför att plocka upp dig och gå mot Haridwar, vilket är ungefär en 5 - timmars bilresa. Ditt första stopp blir Har ki Pauri. Har Ki Pauri anses vara en av de heligaste Ghats i landet och är förmodligen den första platsen där Ganga rör vid slätter, vilket lämnar bakom de orörda bergskedjorna i Himalaya. Ghat är också känd som Brahma Kund där du kan se stenen som har ett avtryck av Lord Vishnus fot, som påpekas av namnet. Du kommer också att utforska två broar i Rishikesh. Först är Lakshman Jhula, den populära hängande bron över den heliga floden Ganga. Denna 450 fot långa Jhula är byggd på en höjd av 70 fot från floden och ligger cirka 3 km från huvudstaden Rishikesh. Den andra bron är Ram Jhula som är järnparallaxbron vid floden Ganga i Rishikesh. Ram Jhula är den nyare bron uppkallad efter Lakshmans bror, Lord Ram.
Du kan äta lunch på en lokal restaurang (på egen bekostnad) innan du besöker Sivananda Ashram, Parmath Niketan Temple, Gita Bhavan, Swarg Ashram, Ma Anandamayee Ashram, Sapt Rishi Ashram och The Beatles Ashram. På kvällen under solnedgången besöker ni Ganga Aarti på Haridwar. Tusentals sekter besöker Gangas ghats i Har ki Pauri i Haridwar för att bevittna artären som startade för flera decennier sedan. Traditionen fortsätter i oförminskad styrka och är en syn att skåda. Ajay was a great tour guide. He took us to some beautiful places including a beach with sparkling sand! It’s also not every day you’re on a beach and there’s a cow laying in the sand soaking up the sun.

I took part in a fantastic tour in Haridwar and Rishikesh, the sacred sites of the Ganges River, which had a particularly positive effect on me. I was able to discover the sights of both towns with the help of the excellent guide Ajay. It was an excellent program, I can only recommend it to everyone!

Our day trip to haridwar and rishikesh was incredible! This was an unmissable experience in India. What made it even better was our tour guide, Ajay. Ajay is a wonderful guide! He answered all my many questions with good humor and lots of information. The scenery is amazing and the many temples and religions were lovely to see and learn about. It was a great day, well worth the drive. Highly recommended!!

This tour is wonderful and the organization was perfect. We had a little glitch at first, but the organizer did well to meet our request. The day is long, but rich in beautiful scenery and moments.

An interesting tour, but a long drive (4 hours each way from/back to Delhi). Visited the various Ghats and Ashrams which were included on the tour, and also a Hindu temple (Glass Temple) which was unlike any other I have visited. I felt the tour could have been shortened as there was quite a time gap between the earlier visits and the start of the evening Aarti ceremony. Pickup arrangements were all fine and good driver and guide.

An excellent one day journey , either in culture or in religion. The driver is very good 👍. The guide was good as well except a little in a hurry .
