We had an absolutely amazing full-day tour to Prometheus Cave and Okatse Canyon with our guide, Shota. From start to finish everything was perfect. Shota picked us up directly from our hotel in Batumi and kept us informed about his arrival time, which was very reassuring. Our first stop was Prometheus Cave. Shota came with us to the ticket office, helped with the ticket purchase and explained where he would meet us after the tour. The cave itself was a fantastic first experience with stalactites. We were advised to bring warm clothes but honestly, we didn’t need them, even though the temperature inside was a constant 14°C. After the cave we continued to Okatse Canyon. On the way Shota wisely suggested that we pre-order lunch at a local restaurant so it would be ready when we finished our hike. We were so glad we did! The food was delicious, with generous portions of authentic Georgian home-cooked meals. Unfortunately, because of the high water levels, we decided not to visit the third cave for the boat trip. Shota handled the change of plans very smoothly and we never felt like we were missing out because the rest of the day was so enjoyable and full of experiences. What truly made the day special was Shota himself. He was incredibly attentive, kind and generous, always making sure all our needs were taken care of. He is also an excellent driver—fast enough to make good time but super careful, which made us feel completely safe. This is something I rarely experience with tour drivers. Shota, thank you for being such a beautiful human being—decent, humble and genuinely dedicated to providing the best possible service. We wish you the very best in your career!!!

We really enjoyed our day and saw some amazing places. We wouldn’t have seen Okatse, Martvili or Prometheus Cave had we not gone on this tour. Really nice.
We had a wonderful experience with Miki. He was a very good driver and explained a lot to us about Georgian culture and traditions. We had planned to visit Martvili Canyon, but unfortunately, because of the weather, it was a bit complicated. Thankfully, Miki took us to the hot water fountain instead, and those memories were truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this tour!
We enjoyed the tour. The cave is closed on rainy days but the guide was able to change the route slightly.
Our tour was well-organized, the nature in Georgia is wonderful, definitely worth seeing. We were totally impressed by the cave and also by the two canyons. The views are picturesque and breath-taking. Special thank-you to Shota, who accompanied us the whole day, he is a very friendly and ready-to-help man. He told us many interesing things about Georgia, local food, customs. Highly recommend the tour.
The most amazing thing in the trip was the driver and tour guide Shota. He was very polite, helpful,and did every thing possible to enjoy our trip. He speaks good English and his advises were a great help.
My recent trip, booked through trip advisor, was a significant disappointment and I cannot recommend it. Despite selecting a private car to maximize efficiency and visit three locations in one day, the experience was poor and felt grossly overpriced for what was delivered. We began our trip at 10:00 AM and returned at 10:00 PM, a full twelve-hour day. However, we only managed to visit two of the three planned locations. This lack of progress was largely due to the unprofessional conduct of our driver and the poor condition of the vehicle. The car's air conditioning was not working for the entire duration of the trip, and the driver repeatedly stopped to check the tires. The driver's performance was the most significant issue. He could not speak English, which made communication and any form of commentary impossible. He also frequently stopped for smoke breaks, which wasted a considerable amount of our limited time. Furthermore, he was constantly using Google Maps to navigate, which gave the impression that he was unfamiliar with the routes. While the locations we did manage to visit were very nice, the overall experience did not justify the high price we paid. The lack of professionalism, combined with the poor vehicle quality and an itinerary that was impossible to complete, makes this tour a bad value. I would recommend selecting a local tourist office for a more reliable and affordable option.

Trip Duration and Itinerary: You are correct that the trip was longer than expected, and we regret that you were only able to visit two out of the three planned locations. The primary factors for this delay were outside of our control. Departure Time: We had advised starting the tour earlier than 10:00 AM, as traffic leaving Batumi during the high season can be very heavy. You declined this recommendation. Unforeseen Road Accident: A significant delay was caused by a car accident on the road, which forced us to take a longer alternative route. This is an unusual occurrence. Location Order: Our driver suggested visiting the Prometheus Cave first, as it has more limited operating hours than the other locations, which would have allowed you to complete the full itinerary. You declined this suggestion. Driver and Vehicle: We regret that the driver's conduct and the vehicle's condition impacted your experience. We have a strict no-smoking policy for all our drivers, and we are addressing this with our team. Stops: The driver's frequent stops were at your request to accommodate breaks for the children in your party. During these stops, the driver did take the opportunity to smoke. Air Conditioning: The stops for the children, along with the driver checking the tires, caused the air conditioning to be less effective. We will be sure to have all vehicles' AC systems thoroughly checked before tours to prevent this from happening again. Language and Navigation: We apologize that the driver's English was not at a level to provide commentary. Our drivers are primarily focused on safe and efficient transportation. The driver's use of Google Maps was to navigate around the unexpected road accident and find the alternative route, not due to a general lack of familiarity with the area. Despite the circumstances, we understand your frustration, and we offered a partial refund for the inconvenience. We hope you will consider giving us another chance in the future to show you a more professional and enjoyable tour experience.
An excellent trip for family and friends. Contains multiple spots outside Batumi which are well maintained and developed. The guide will pick you up from your choice of location in Batumi and shows you around. Their suggestions improve the overall experience. Had a lovely time.
I had my ride with Shota - very polite and nice driver. He showed us all the listed places, gave good instructions were to go in the most interesting way. You'll se one of the most beautiful places in general during this trip - strongly recommended. PS. Ask Shota to take you to some local restaurant on the country side - you'll be amazed!
