Börja dagen med en hämtning kl. 06.00 från ditt Nairobi-hotell för en 5-timmars tur till Nairobi nationalpark. Tillsammans med en lokal chaufför/guide kan du korsa parkens naturstigar för att upptäcka lejon, giraffer, strutsar, flodhästar, vita och svarta noshörningar, bufflar och andra djurliv. Besök det ikoniska Ivory Burning Site Monument under spelets drive, som avslutas runt 10:30. Därefter beger du dig till det berömda David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage för att observera räddade elefantungar när de ivrigt dricker sin välling. Efteråt kan du njuta av en valfri kaffepaus. Turen avslutas med en avlämning tillbaka till ditt Nairobi hotell runt 14:00.
Väktare introducerar varje föräldralös elefantunge och delar med sig av rörande berättelser om sina räddningar medan de lekfulla kalvarna slukar mjölk, vältrar sig i lera, brottas med vänner eller tar dammbad. En timmes session (11.00 till 12.00) belyser Trustens viktiga arbete med att handuppföda dessa spädbarn tills de kan återförenas med vilda hjordar.
Gäster på Giraffe Centre i Nairobi kommer att stöta på utrotningshotade Rothschildgiraffer på nära håll från upphöjda observationsplattformar. Platsen har en lugn 95 - hektar naturskyddsområde perfekt för fågelskådning och upptäcka vårtsvin eller buskbockar längs skogsklädda stigar. Utbildningsutställningar belyser giraffens bevarandeinsatser och ger insikter i dessa majestätiska djurs livsmiljö och skydd.

We had an early start after a late flight but it was well worth it. Our Guide, Julius, was very knowledgeable and really knew the best places to go. Within a few minutes of entering the park, as it began to light up and the fog began to clear we saw Rhinos! We got close to Rhinos, zebra, giraffe, and buffalo to name but a few! We were lucky to get a lot of birds as well and even as Serval Cat! The visit to the Elephant Santuary was really good and hearing about the work which they carry out. The Giraffe centre was a brief visit but worth it to get close to the giraffes and feed them!!

What an amazing way to begin our trip to Africa. Our guide Peter was so amazing! He was informative, had an excellent eye for wildlife and treated us like royalty. We would give him 10 stars if it were possible. We were picked up at 5am and by 7 am we had seen 4 of the big 5!!! This park is chock full of wildlife and so beautiful. The Sheldrick Nursery is a do not miss! Also the Giraffe Center. He took us to a wonderful little restaurant for a tasty lunch of African food. You will adore this park and day! (Ask for Peter!)

5 stars. Julius was a fantastic guide and driver from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable, punctual, and made the entire day feel easy and enjoyable. Nairobi National Park, the elephant sanctuary, and the giraffe centre were all incredible, and Julius helped us make the most of every stop. We felt safe and well taken care of throughout the tour. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting Nairobi.

Great wildlife viewing close to the city. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Communication with the tour company was very quick and clear. I highly recommend this excursion with Wasili.

This was an excellent private tour and Peter was a great guide! He took us all around the National Park and we were able to see so much wildlife (lions, rhinos, buffalo, ostriches, baboons, hippos, etc). I would definitely recommend the tour!

I booked this trip as a solo female traveller and I am so glad that I did. I had Evans as my tour guide and he was great. He arrived promptly at my hotel to pick me up and was very informative throughout the drive. He knew all the spots to go to to spot the animals I wanted to see and had a lot of knowledge about the history of the park. He was also very patient and even took time out to drive me to a spot to get coffee on the way to the Giraffe Centre. It was a great experience and I'm glad I had Evans as my tour guide.

Had a wonderful experience with Julius including a very unique and intimate encounter with some white rhino. Definitely plan $100 USD for the extra National Park Fee, but worth every penny.

Our driver and privaye tour guide Peter was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and personal. The pickup was on time and we were able to catch the sunrise and see multiple animals. We also let him know that we had an appointment later that day and need to be back at the hotel ealier. He made it happen with the park, elephant sanctuary, and giraffe experience and got us back in time. Just a wonderful day for my family, and a great way to kick off our trip to Kenya.

The guide was right on time and because this is a private tour, I got to spend as much or as little time as I wanted at the elephant/giraffe stops. And the price was cheaper than the same tours I saw that were up to 30 people so definitely recommend this company!
