We had a wonderful day overall, and our skipper, Michele, was fantastic. He was friendly, welcoming, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, swimming was so refreshing, and we had an amazing time on the water. We booked this excursion specifically because we wanted to experience both Amalfi and Positano in one day. As soon as we arrived, we let our skipper know that was our goal. We were told there wouldn't be enough time to explore both towns and that we could spend time in Amalfi but would only drive past Positano. That was disappointing because the excursion description on the website states that you'll have about an hour to explore both Amalfi and Positano. We feel the description is a bit misleading and should better reflect what guests can realistically expect. We also want to mention the fuel charge. We understood when booking that fuel was not included, and the website listed the cost as approximately $70. After booking, we received a message saying fuel typically costs around $150, so we assumed we would simply pay for the fuel actually used. Then, the night before our excursion, we were informed that the fuel charge would be a flat rate of $150. We think the website should be updated to reflect the current pricing so guests know what to expect before booking. Despite these concerns, Michele was an excellent skipper, and we truly had a memorable day. With a few updates to the excursion description and pricing information, the experience would have been 5 stars.
We had a great time on the boat! Our guide Michele was very responsive in the lead-up to our ride and provided clear instructions on where to meet him. He was very knowledgeable and friendly during the ride, showing us key landmarks and sites along the Amalfi Coast, and providing enough time to explore the town of Amalfi. We stopped in a nearby town for lunch and got to spend time on the beach. After, Michele showed us Positano from a great vantage point for pictures. He also led us to a great spot for swimming, which was very enjoyable. Overall we had a great time on the boat, and would recommend this for anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast
I found this boat trip via Trip Advisor and didn't regret it! We were staying about 10km from Salerno and so departure from Salerno Port was very convenient for us - myself and 2 children aged 14yrs. The booking process was straightforward though i made a mistake on the date and had to call them to change this. They were very helpful and sent me a confirmation email once changed. I then received good communication from Caterina via WhatsApp who wanted to ensure that we did everything we wanted to on the trip eg swim stops, lunch etc. She said drinks and snacks are provided so we would be looked after. I also asked for swim aids eg noodle and she said no problem. She confirmed skipper cost and fuel cost of €150 to be paid in cash on board. Our skipper was initially going to be Guido but on the morning he messaged to say Luigi would be our skipper instead. We got a Google Maps pinpoint to find Luigi and found him easily and headed to boat. Wow! The boat was beautiful, looked clean and in very good condition. We headed out along the beautiful Amalfi coastline. Naturally it was very hot but the awning provided some shade at the front of the boat. Luigi was a good guide poiting out towns and villages as we passed. The views were breathtakingly beautiful. We stopped for 2 swim spots before arriving in Amalfi. The water was crystal clear and not too cold. The kids really enjoyed it. Qe could swim up to caves. Getting on and off the boat was ok - jump or ease yourself in and a ladder to help you get out. Something else to hold onto on the boat would have helped me getting back onto the boat once on the ladder, but I managed fine. Luigi kindly opened a bottle of Prosecco 😁 for me and I enjoyed a glass! The children were given a bottle of water each. Snacks comprised a small bag of biscuits each. My kids were expecting something more as they were hungry! You could bring food on board but I didn't. In hindsight I should have asked what snacks are provided. We had 1hr in Amalfi which was very rushed. I think a bit longer would be better. We had time to buy a sandwich and a quick stroll up the town and to the cathedral -lots and lots of steps! We then had a change of skipper and Guido came on board and Luigi had to go and fix the other boat problems. They are Luigi's boats. Guido then took us to Positano and said to call him when we are ready to leave. This was a better idea, and less stressful for us. We could get a coffee and snacks for children. Back on the boat, Guido took us to a small private beach area where we could have our final swim. It was much busier with lots of boats also stopped for the same. Unlike the other stops there was no secure bouy line to stop boats coming too near the shore so I was a bit nervous when we were swimming around as other boats were moving around us. Back on board Guido offered some Limoncello - Luigi's homemade then straight back to Salerno. A lemon biscuit was the snack. The kids were not offered another drink. Again I think the kids would have enjoyed a coke or soda and something like an Italian pastry perhaps? Overall, it was an amazing trip, both Luigi and Guido were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and sights. They both spoke good English. Both my teenage children and I said it was the highlight of our stay on the Amalfi coast. Would definitely recommend! Splash out and treat yourself, you won't regret it!

Our private Amalfi Coast boat day with Manuel was unforgettable. He was kind, flexible, and genuinely excited to share the history and hidden corners of the coastline. We swam in crystal‑clear coves, visited caves, passed the Lovers’ Arch and Furore Fjord, and spent time wandering around Amalfi. The highlight was his surprise: fresh breakfast pastries and snacks from his uncle’s bakery in Salerno. It made the whole experience feel so personal and special. Truly one of the best days of our trip.
We had a wonderful day at sea , cruising around si many wonderful spots … chilling and doung some tourism. Great recommendation for lunch. Our skipper was outstanding and very helpful. Super convenient pick up and drop off right at the port next to cruise. We had a wonderful day!
Wow…just wow! This boat tour was everything we hoped for and more. The views of the Amalfi Coast were absolutely stunning, the boat was comfortable, and Guido made us feel welcomed. Every stop was beautiful, and the entire experience was relaxing, fun, and unforgettable. We had an incredible time and couldn’t have asked for a better day. If you’re visiting Italy, this is a must-do experience!
Great day on the water and land. We hit so many stops in 7 hrs. Had a great time strolling Amalfi & Positano. Amazing lunch at a suggested stop was the icing, Great captain, ask for JohnMarco.
This tour was amazing! Are guide Guido, was so awesome. He knew what everything was on the coast line and explained it with great English! He started the tour 5 minutes from where our cruise ship parked. We went slowly towards Pasiano stopping at many places along the way. He gave us time swimming, drove the boat into caves (which was amazing), stopped at Amalphi to shop and get a quick snack. He also let us have as much time as needed at each stop. We ended up having lunch at a place you can go to only by boat. Food was amazing! Then took us Pasiano to walk. The whole trip was smooth and relaxing! He also ended with giving us lemoncido. ( probably spelled wrong). I highly recommend this tour.
Very nice trip, as are all trips along the Amalfi coast when the weather is good. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the drinks were always available and nicely cooled, the chosen restaurant was really nice. The route was also very good in general and worked well for us because we had been to Positano previously, but it was a bit improvised based on the guests what I dont love because it this could be pre-arranged very easily and it puts everyone under pressure to defend their interests so-to-speak. I appreciate others think this spontaneity is good, so no negative points, but just fyi
