8am : Möt din Guide under den stora röda skylten "Folkets samlingssal" (på Kinesiska 重庆市人民大礼堂) vid Folkets torg i Chongqing. Du kan enkelt ta tunnelbana, buss och taxi för att komma dit. Närmaste tunnelbanestation är "Chongqing People's Auditorium Station", utgång 1.
09:00 : Ta en taxi till Liziba Station. Liziba tunnelbanestation är mycket populär på sociala medier. Det är inte en turistattraktion men det unika beror på att denna tunnelbanestation ligger i mitten av en byggnad. Här tar du en järnväg och upplever att snabbspårvägen går genom bostadshuset.
0930 Chongqing E'ling Park, som ligger i Yuzhong District, grundades 1909 och var en gång den privata trädgården för den lokala rikaste mannen. Gå upp till Lansheng Pavilion inne i parken, och du kommer att få en fantastisk utsikt över den magnifika konvergensen av Yangtze och Jialing floder. Det är också en utmärkt plats för en fågel utsikt över Chongqing stad.
1040: Promenad längs Shanchenggränden. Shanchenggränden i Chongqing är cirka 1,5 kilometer lång och är en liten gränd fylld med historisk charm och essensen i vardagen. Körbanan är belagd med grön skiffer och byggd längs bergssidan, slingrande och vridande med traditionell Chongqing arkitektur på båda sidor, prydd med grönska och blommande blommor. I takt med att Chongqing har utvecklats har många små gränder och stadsportar försvunnit, vilket gör detta till en kvarleva av minnena från den äldre generationen av Chongqingbor.
1230 : Ta en taxi till Dongshuimen Bridge för att njuta av en mycket unik utsikt över Chongqing Yangtze River Cableway på avstånd. Chongqing Yangtzeflodens linbana hyllas som den "första flygkorridoren över Yangtzefloden" och den "lokala hissen". Denna linbana har varit officiellt i drift sedan 1987 och sträcker sig över nästan 1,8 kilometer i längd. Den rör sig med en hastighet av 6 meter per sekund och tar cirka 4 minuter att resa från Yangtzeflodens ena strand till den andra. Den fungerar som ett transportmedel för medborgarnas dagliga pendling. Med byggandet av Yangtze River Bridge har det gradvis blivit ett traditionellt sätt att ansluta de två bankerna.
1250: Promenera till Chaotianmen Wholesale Market. Detta är den mest representativa platsen i Chongqing där övergången från det gamla till det nya, fylld med en känsla av cyberpunk science fiction. Det är också här "bangbang män" av portiererna är mest koncentrerade. Det är mycket nära till Raffles City (Chaotianmen Pier), vi kommer att ta en paus här.
14:00 : Promenera till Hongya Cave. Hongyagrottan är över 2000 år gammal och har restaurerats gång på gång för att bevara sin skönhet. Robert was an excellent tour guide! With this being my first day in Chongqing, he made an overwhelming city all the more manageable with his in depth knowledge of the city, it's history and some of the real highlights to see- including places I wouldn't have thought to visit! He was flexible with our itenerary, attentive to my needs and a fast friend. Would gladly recommend this tour to others- albeit something you could do yourself to save some money. Thank you!

Scenic tour was strenuous walking up and down stairs, steps, slopes. Difficult understanding our guide.

I went on this tour with my mom and we absolutely loved it! It also happened to be just the two of us. Our tour guide was Aaron and he was incredibly delightful and well informed on the history and culture. The pacing was great, we never felt rushed, and he even accommodated my mom’s needs since she has a bad knee. Other than the gift shops and other things that I bought, the admission fees were all taken care of. He was amazing and I would definitely do this again.

Our guide, Peter, showed us Chongqing in all its glory. What a beautiful city. From Gooseneck ( Eling) Park to the bustling streets of the old town, with enchanting tea houses perched on the mountain side. We particularly enjoyed visiting the museums celebrating General Sitwell and the Flying Tigers. Peter also showed us the best place to have authentic Chongqin noodles. We had a wonderful couple of days made all the more enjoyable in Peter's company.

Must do in Chongqing. This is such a fascinating city. And probably difficult to explore on your own. Albert is a great guide with a profound knowledge of his city and history. His gave good tips what to visit and where to have some good food.
