Idag hämtas du från ditt hotell och körs till byn Materuni, där du ger dig ut på en kort men utmanande vandring till Materunifallen. Här kan du koppla av och njuta av den vackra utsikten över vattenfallet. Senare kommer du att ta dig till en närliggande kaffegård, där du kan lära dig hur kaffe odlas, skördas och bearbetas. Du kommer att få möjlighet att prova att rosta och förbereda din färska kopp råa, lokala kaffe! Du kommer att njuta av din utsökta drink innan du tar dig till en närliggande varm källa. Det varma vattnet och vackra landskapet gör den här våren till en av de bästa platserna att bada vid Materuni Falls. Efter din simtur kommer du att köras till Kikuletwa Hotspring
Efter lunch på materuni hämtar din chaufför dig för 45 minuters bilresa från Materuni till Chemka Hotspring via Arusha-Moshi-vägen. Resan börjar på en asfalterad väg och övergår sedan till grus efter ungefär en timme, som leder genom en fantastisk afrikansk landsbygd med buskmark, torra flodbäddar, baobab och akaciaträd. När den når Kikuletwa, liknar den en oas bland vidsträckta fikonträd i det halvtorra landskapet. Kristallklart vatten bubblar från underjordiska grottor och ger det namnet "Hot Springs". Om du tar med dig din baddräkt kan du ta ett uppfriskande dopp och koppla av i skuggan. Efter en picknicklunch åker vi tillbaka till Arusha/Moshi via grusvägar

We booked the Private Materuni Waterfalls, Coffee Tour and Kikuletwa Hot Spring experience with Swahili Safari Escape and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. From start to finish, everything felt really well organised. Our guide and driver, Alex, was honestly perfect — friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to get along with. He made the whole day feel relaxed but still made sure we got the most out of every stop. You could tell he genuinely cared about making the experience special for us, not just ticking boxes. Materuni Waterfalls was beautiful, and the walk there was just as enjoyable as the destination itself. Alex shared bits about the local culture and surroundings along the way, which made it more meaningful rather than just a hike to a viewpoint. The waterfall itself was stunning and definitely worth the effort. The coffee tour was a really nice surprise. It felt authentic and interactive — not staged or rushed. Getting to see the whole process from bean to cup (and actually taking part in it) was something we didn’t expect to enjoy as much as we did. Plus, the coffee was genuinely some of the best we had during our trip. Kikuletwa Hot Springs was the perfect way to end the day. The water is unbelievably clear and refreshing, and we had enough time to just relax and take it all in without feeling rushed. It’s one of those places that looks amazing in photos but is even better in person. What stood out most was how smooth the whole day felt. Timing was spot on, the car was comfortable, and Alex handled everything so we didn’t have to think about logistics at all. Overall, it felt like a really personal experience rather than a generic tour. Would 100% recommend Swahili Safari Escape — and if you can, ask for Alex. He made a great day unforgettable.

The perfect wildlife viewing tour! The guide was very experienced and knowledgeable, accurately predicting when and where animals would appear. Several national parks were all absolutely stunning, with primitive natural scenery that intoxicated us. We saw many wild animals, and couldn't stop taking photos. The itinerary was reasonable and safe, with good vehicle conditions and skilled drivers. For this price to have such an experience, it offers great value for money, highly recommended to all nature lovers!

Seth is an incredibly trustworthy, professional, and detail-oriented guide—and also the owner of this travel agency. He was always punctual and made sure to clean the vehicle thoroughly every day. The driver and the organizer were both very friendly, and we really appreciate it. We were very impressed by the coffee tour and the waterfall, I will definitely recommend it. We contacted the tour operator and were able to tailor the tour exactly to our needs. We first visited the Materuni Waterfall and then a Maasai village. The Maasai village was also a very special experience, even if it was a bit strange for us Europeans. Nevertheless, it was worth the experience and it was organized superbly.
